I think tht is exactly what will happen. She will walk off and he might follow her and maybe tht is when she'll blast him, say some hurtful things again to him tht might make him think OR honestly I dont hv any hope left for Anurag to use his damn brains.

Becoz if he can fall in Priyankas shit to make Kajol jealous, he is not capable anymore to think. His braincells are dead just like the makers

I don’t know- I mean to be very fair- I know that we all have heavily criticized the writers and such, but whatever they did, it’s not actually new to ITV. So many ancient relic shows running for years have not only given audiences crap that is much worse but have even been PREMISED on problematic elements but they have been able to garner TRP because faster pace and high voltage drama at every alternative episode. At least this show was premised on a positive element but sucked big time executing it and sadly fell for relying on ITV tropes

What really is putting the show in danger is the slow execution and failure to capitalize on resources. Even when the Kajol Arjun wedding was there it took so many weeks and so much patience before we finally got around to seeing Kajol breaking the wedding off and until then we were fed dowry negativity

And yeah like you this is one of the few ITV shows I’ve watched properly (Dahleez before this, highly recommended- a very crisply done finite show where Harshad Arora was in top form with a very excellent Tridha Choudhury but sadly that show never got more than 1.0 trp I think despite being superb in all departments- writing acting technical finesse etc)

just to give some silver lining to all however- even if this show goes off air here are the good parts:

1. We’ll see ID soon in Drishyam 2, and her character in this movie is one that is dealing with PTSD from the events in Drishyam 1, and I’m excited to see how she’ll pull this off

2. Karan: I watched bits of meri hanikarak biwi, really liked his performance and chemistry with FL. Whilst this show may be off air soon I feel like because Anurag was so hyped up by the show (and because he has performed up to the hype) this should be a really good break for him/give good mileage and I hope he does a good show in a more encouraging channel, or, going by his past career choices (MHB was quite offbeat) maybe OTT would be great

3. Harshad: the sooner he is out of this show the better for him. He deserved much better than this because when he first entered he entered as the negative ML and now we hardly see him, he gets very little screen time. Would love to see him as a lead

Will be a long post once I include others from the cast, maybe will type it out another time

I found Tridha very wooden in Dahleez when it came to romantic scenes and Indian audience want romance as can be seen in TSBTSP but the main attraction of the show was the story for me. One of the best shows ever to grace ITV after Adhikar, Swaabhimaan and Shanti. (The ones I have seen. Old ITV shows were the gold standard, the advent of Saas bahu dramas by Balaji ruined ITV forever)

Yes Karan must have been noticed and hoping he will get a better show in the future.

Ishita also I think has offers for projects where she would feature with Vatsal but has been rejecting those because both have prior commitments she doesn't lack work and I feel bad for her because I think she was fed a different story and was given something else entirely. I have never seen her cry so much in a show. In Baazigar when Vatsal's character breaks off their marriage as he wanted to destroy her, there also her character did not cry so much.

Harshad I don't know since I am one of those obsessed fans who follow him and his career. I would say he makes poor choices so this did not surprise me. Hopefully in future he uses his brain and gets back in shape to play a lead or a proper negative character and not a sleaze and an idiot.

Dowry has been forgotten and the Chatterjees are now the victims and the real victims the Mukherjees are just a bunch hand wringing cry babies. They have not also dealt with the concept of beauty standards depicted here.

This off air news is all over the place this morning...

Some say Jan 2022, others say end of this month.

Till now no one has officially said anything, but I think this show is really doomed.

TRP for this week is the same and I think becoz of AnJol ppl are still watching, but if they go too far with this MU shit, even the ardent AnJol fans might get fed up and leave. Becoz everywhere over Social Media ppl are complaining abt this MU shit and to bring AnJol together, but no one seems to listen....as if they dont care anymore

I think Optimystix really doesn't care as they have been promoting their upcoming stand up comedy show and also some movie that they have produced. But their whole approach to promote this show from the beginning has been lackadaisical. Even at the beginning the promotional interviews were few and far between. I think they have never produced a prime time entertainment show on such a scale as most of their shows have been on Sony, Sab or Star Bharat i.e. channels with lesser TRP which allow them to focus more on the story and less on the TRP. I think they crumbled under pressure.

Everybody knows how Colors tv functions, so they should hv bee prepared for this.

I’m not hoping but certainly manifesting a time slot change for TSBTSP- why are the two lower performing shows not being taken off first, and maybe with BB ending soon, they can actually adjust the timing? So far colors has two new shows in the pipeline so why are there talks of this going off air SO soon? Can someone explain the logic please

Colors is a nightmare when it comes to TRP pressure is what I’ve heard

Although SP is also heavily trp focused they are also okay with experimenting and giving time it seems

They should have just done this gosh

Besides I really don’t like the kind of shows colors is known for. I haven’t watched them but some of their most famous shows have premises that make me sick to the gut
