I think it's unfair to put it all on abhimanyu . If akshu can sacrifice for her family , why can't abhi ? N he didn't say he wants to marry arohi as a revenge tactic or something . He said he will marry the girl who his mom chooses / family chooses for him . If his mom wants arohi what can he say?

Case in point , he is doing it ONLY bec akshara said that she has moved on, that she never loved abhimanyu. If she was honest, ye sab kaand hote hi nai. Birla family was ready to marry him to akshu if akshu said yes.

Secondly , arohi is inviting a heartbreak. After knowing well that abhi loves akshara , she is desperate to marry him .

Yeah kinda agree with you ..he's asking for arohi's consent which he should..its not a romantic proposal..he's completely broken and has left his life's decisions in the hands of his family ..akshara has broken this confident man who used to live life on his own terms and conditions to such an extent..its only because of akshu's dumbness that the three lives will suffer..arohi is hopeful about abhimanyu because akshara refused him ..if akshara would have claimed her man earlier arohi's delusions would have gradually come to an end that abhimanyu can never be her's ...but no this mahaan akshara has to create drama..and because of akshara's dumbness arohi's heart will again break when abhimanyu rejects her after knowing about her lies..abhimanyu's character will be questioned again for two timing and proposing marriage to arohi..damn she has brought all of us back to square one.

Yeah culprit is Akshara's dumbness! And in today's world if you don't take stand for yourself and deliberately allow yourself to get played by someone , it's your mistake. She is the one who filled all hopes in aarohi by leaving Abhimanyu. Akshara is behaving like Manjari sorry to say
