In Ichchee Nodee Arohi lies to Abhi that the reason Akshu keeps rejecting him even after asking her so many times is because Akshu has a boyfriend who also sings. So when Abhi asks where is the boyfriend Arohi tells him the guy went to a different country and Akshu is waiting for said guy. And Abhi believes that and decides to marry Arohi in anger.

Oh but they haven't shown that here. Abhi just agrees to marry arohi out of heartbreak.
