IMHO it is more due to her allegedly abusive relationship with Salman Khan than Ranbir. Any woman would be congratulated for landing a better man who respects her, is not a jailbird or a GF batterer.

And given his past pattern, there is no scope of one sided story in case of Salman Khan atleast.

Wasn't talking about the society in general but this forum.. people here seem to think most females whose relationship didn't work out are becharies.. it sucks to have a breakup or be dumped.. but that definitely does not make you a poor old bechari who is considered to have her shot of happiness only when she is married.. that mindset is primarily what I have a problem against

And how exactly is Kat a bechari? She continues to be close to Salman and his family at least on face value despite him being an abusive prick.. she is rumored to have been the reason Vicky broke up with his girlfriend.. she is the one who was in a relationship with a committed guy and enabled his cheating..

Yes.. we have come a long way since then.. Kat deserved to have a happy love life just like everyone else.. but to paint her as this pure Dil ki saaf insan who has done no wrong and jis k uper zulmo ka pahaar tora gaya ho is gross exaggeration

They probably call her for struggles because she had to be bread winner for her family from young age, admitted missing growing up without a father and did suffer abuse at hands of Salman.

So they feel she is perhaps happy and settled finally, has someone to care for her, accept her now.

Salman's family is even close to Sangeeta Bijlani who Salman dumped at wedding altar. They are a curious case. They are probably helpful to people who they have known in past. So people have regard for them no matter what Salman has done to them.

She married vicky cause he must have been the kind to be a good husband a good father, also he is really talented so he can have a bright career if he picks up better movies. i think she has enough fame and money to not care about it anymore

Now this can be considered a cause for sympathy but she overcame this issue when she became a star and definitely not only because she became someone's wife.. a woman's or even a man's happy ever after does not only come when they get married..

Oh really ? If not for Salmans support and backing after the disastrous Boom no one would have given Katrina a second look.

Salman cast her not only in his films but also helped her choose the correct films.It is out in open if you care to do some research.
More importantly he gave that security to a young girl if not navigating film business is not easy for sure esp after Boom.

Agree that no one can make anyone a star but if not for Salmans support in Katrina s initial stages she would have had to resort to B grade movies at most!

Salman has been nothing but supportive to her and so have his family been .If she had so much problem with his behaviour she wouldn’t maintain cordial relations with him even so many years later.
They broke up and moved on and Salman s minding his own business and clearly not interested in Katrina in a romantic way. Live and let live !

There were articles that Harleen and Vicky broke up due to Kat.. Since it's not confirmed, I used alleged term.. no one has to make up a lie to prove that Kat had no qualms going for committed man since we know one such confirmed relationship of hers.. so I really don't have to make up stuff to prove that she is capable of that.. there were articles hence the mention.. not that I know if there was any truth to these articles
