Guys, we all including me have been saying his character is being butchered but I don't think so.

Abhimanyu was a guy who felt unloved all his left except for his mom with whom he shares everything. Then came Akshara like a ray of hope. He loved her crazy but even she broke me. I know Akshara is mahaan and all but it is Akshara who made him go through this and that was pretty selfish of her.

He gave her multiple chances to confess to him but she kept crushing his hope. There was no direct sign by Akshara that she loves him a lot. This mixed signals made him go crazy. He felt like he will never get the love from her which he craves for.

Now we may say he is so desperate for Akshu to confess, he is not seeing from her point of views. Let me remind you this is the guy who didn't get any love and it is his insecurity that he won't get in life the love he needs- the way he says to his mom in birthday scene that mom I only trust you! That's what he's been doing now. The only women he loved broke him.

With this fire incident, abhi felt like I was left to die. He said in the segment nobody came to save me. He felt like akshu his life whom he loved so much, didn't care and left him to die. When you go through this level of heartbreak and somebody shows you care its natural to choose them to fix yourself. Abhimanyu saw that if not Aarohi he wouldn't have been alive so he wants her to give a chance. What's wrong in that?

I know cvs have written a cringy storyline but this is how it is and we should accept this. We should wait for things to unfold and to see whether it is Abhimanyu who brings the truth out. Abhimanyu name suggests light in darkness- so I feel it's only who will get to the bottom of the truth.
