It is Arohi who is sitting there in a corner, trying to get her way through guilt and blackmail, running after a man who doesn’t like her, compromising her job and career for a man. I don’t think she is cute either but she’s definitely not kickass!

Who defines smartness? Society.

Previous gen definition of smartness = higher academic marks and career choices where one spend heaps of money and time to reap prestigious if not materialistic returns. One needs only high IQ, and certain degree of self absorption(read selfishness) to do well.

Potentially most of current gen would agree that ability think of feet and adapt/react to situations without causing anxiety and maintaining peace would probably be v definition of a smart person. Decent IQ with EQ is generally what makes smart people smart! Even smart vamp has both!

Got to admit, the show is presenting the difference between the 2 mindsets quite well!

From my perspective yes.

I havent said he is not kickass. I do think he is cool. I like the way every hospital scene of his has been brilliant. I also like the way he has was so humble in talking about his achievements to Arohi and saying I did nothing great, you did well. I even like how he treats Akshu like she is his girlfriend/wife even though he seems to only spoken to her in voiceover and never properly in real life, as Hardhad himself said. I do like all that. But I can like someone and still think he is being really stupid and selfish when he forced her to come home to talk about her feelings without once even talking to her privately about her feelings. I can think he is being stupid when he think he owes Arohi thanks for helping him but can’t see what Akshu did for his birthday or in front of the medical tribunal.

By the same token I can also think Akshara is kickass and still make a post about her not being career minded enough and giving up too easily. I found it really stupid how just because she had to help the kid who had an accident she just gave up on her job interview. I wish she was more capable to going after what she wants.

I’m my view at least liking Akshu or abhi doesn’t require me to like everything about them or constantly have to justify them even when I think they did something stupid.
