Vicky has come a long way since Masaan. One of the best movies to come out of Bwood. I am just glad that he got more and more roles after that film and didn't stick to just unconventional roles. He looked good in Raazi too. His and Kat's wedding still feels like a dream though. During covid, this has got to be the most pleasant thing to have happened in Bwood.😆

Nobody cares about haters. Ranveer was compared to SRK in terms of onscreen energy and confidence when he debuted. He was a success even before he married Deepika. Anyway he always went from strength to strength and proved haters wrong. He was called miscast for Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat, but he gave award winning performances. He is competing for next #1 position and is the biggest young male star right now. Unlike Vicky whose only highest grosser is a film where he played sidekick to Ranbir Kapoor.

Cope. Ranveer is way more successful and talented and not need validation from unknown ids on dying forums.

Deepika a C lister? LMAO! She was on top with her debut OSO while Ranbir was a flop where even posing in towel could not make film hit.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika's all films with Bhansali are hits. While RK's film with Bhansali is a disaster. Rather that star kid used relationship with Deepika to stay in limelight and later used relationship with Katrina to stay in limelight even if films did not do well. Katrina saved him by giving him hit like Ajab Prem ki Ghajab Kahani in 2009 and multi starrer Raajneeti in 2010. Nowadays he is in relationship with more popular star Alia Bhatt. Always moves from one top heroine to another to stay in limelight.

Ranveer has more than just rom coms to his credit. He has been doing films like Ram Leela, Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani, Simmba, Lootera while someone else was mostly playing manchild lover boy refusing to grow up or singing sed songs at GF's wedding in every film until a Hirani film, a biopic on a star with a colourful life and terror case against him made him a bigger name at BO. That biopic is nothing but a shameful attempt to whitewash a druggie and criminal.

Neither does Deepika become a C lister nor does RS become a nobody just because some hater on a dying message board said so.

Ranveer has his own real hair and is definitely not having a voice that sounds like he always has sinus issues.

Nor he has a pakoda nose or baby face.

He has more onscreen charisma and energy than any star of young generation and great confidence interacting with live audience as well. He is a born entertainer and exudes effortless confidence.

I did not compare him. It was the industry that compared Ranveer to young SRK seeing his energy and confidence in his debut itself.

Now go and argue with those industry seniors who saw potential in Ranveer and compared him to SRK seeing his energy and confidence as a newcomer.

Anyway, I agree Ranveer cannot be compared to SRK. He does not do films like Maya Memsaab nor takes just about anything offered to him.

Vicky being a better actor? We'll see if he can do a Bajirao or Khilji. With that face he is likely to get Malik Kafur role only. Not roles of an emperor or king.

Nobody would have even known him if not for Uri, which has succeeded more due to its theme and was also promoted by BJP govt as it was based on an operation done under their govt. Uri is not even some big hit like Border was.

It is plain jealousy of star kid fans and they cannot digest that Ranveer became the huge superstar that he did, is an inhouse fav of top director like Bhansali and nailed all roles for which he was called miscast, won awards, proved his versatility in every role from hero to villain and is married to a top female superstar like Deepika.

Ranveer was a guy who came from no film family. He made his mark when others were being hyped in name of family legacy and even their films with their famous parents flopped.

Obviously seeing his all round success today and big filmmakers wanting to work with him, liking him, pisses people off.

If someone like Vicky is called more good looking than Ranveer or Ranveer is called a nobody you know where the envy and hate are coming from.

Ranveer was mocked when he was signed for his first film. He was mocked and called miscast when he was signed for Bajirao, Padmavat. He is being mocked for 83. He succeeded earlier and proved detractors wrong. He will go from strength to strength again.

He is a natural entertainer with unmatched confidence, energy and does not have to rely on controversies to stay in news or harp about famous parents. He is here to stay and is serious competitor for next #1 position post Khan-Kumar-Devgan era.

It does not matter at all what frustrated fans of other actors or fans of his wife's exes say. Those who naturally assumed they were next/new kings of Bollywood are finding a tough competition in Ranveer. Hence the dislike for this self made outsider is a given.

I don't know why this animosity between rk dp fans, I don't think we've had an entertaining movie as yjhd where both leads had important roles, good songs, love story since yjhd. I had so much hope from tamasha but imtiaz has gone all weird , I am intelligent filmmaker on Bollywood. but even with imtiaz's weird screen play, rk dp and their connection shined in the movie and the songs.

wish dp had done the luv ranjan movie, but some of her fans again put this unnecessary controversy pressure on her. I hope deepika does a movie with rk soon. they compliment each other the most in movies. and I am a deepika fan more than a rk fan. actually disliked rk off screen when he was with katrina. and even onscreen during that time besharam was so horrible.

neither is rk or dp a c lister or flop. and I disliked ranveer for the longest time because am a rkdp Jodi fan but finally saw lootera, and that was such a Wonderfull movie with great acting from all and what direction. so I like ranveer now too, but still think slb draws out the worst in him.
