As someone predicted, I think they will make Virat nab Shruthi and Sada .....and have the police department release & rehabilitate them ......it's not unheard of that police department does try to rehabilitate Maoists (using their judgement) and not press charges on them.....these people are made to give up their violent methods and enter the mainstream....
So they will cleverly minimise Virat's blunder like that.....since Sada and Shruthi will no longer be "criminals" technically. So he might get suspended for some time(in the show).....that's all. In real life, I'd expect him to still be expelled. But ghum mein isse jyaada ...I'm not expecting....no sensible way they can come out of this messy plot....
The story can only be 2 ways
In the Shruti track, it would be nice if they deviate from the original. They can actually make Virat a hero if they show that this is a part of a bigger plan and DIG is aware of all of this.
But, if it is copy paste, Virat is going to hide Shruti from everyone. His behaviour will lead to Sai suspecting him. Mohit meeting them at the lodge will add fuel to the fire. While Pulkit will try to tell Sai to have faith in Virat, one after the other circumstances will deepen her fears. Eventually things come to such a stage that Sai will file for divorce. Sadanand will come back and will also feel that Virat betrayed him and is having an affair with Shruti. He will meet Virat and Shruti. Shruti won't go to him. There are other sub tracks also... but yeah this is copy paste
I feel, it would be nicer that even if they take Shruti track, they can tweak it and be better than the original
