This is so so true that Vanraaj had the most effect on Anu for 25 years no matter he loved her back or not, but he was her love for this period. So this jolt is needed from him only. the same effect is not caused by Devika or Babuji but only Vanraaj.

Honestly for this scene I dont see his any motive in this. Asking the ex to move on is a good thing. Wo alag baat hai ki wo V hai. Wo kabhi bhi u-turn le sakta hai.

But this push has to come from Vanraaj.

I agree that we want Anu to realise by her own but dont forget she is Anu. Sometimes, we need a push and need to hear the truth and jab kuch hum feel karte hai and realise nahi karte then, people makes us realise that. Here V is doing the same for her. He no matter what knew Anu that she is a good person. I am not praising V here but I am talking about Anu that she needs to here this from a person for whom she had feeling for almost 2.5 decades.

When he will say her to move on and that she has feelings for Anuj, this will make her think deep.

In real life hume push chahiye hota hai.
