Abhimanyu Character- My opinion

So a lot of people are starting to bash Abhi and to a certain degree I can understand it but I truly don’t think he can be called a toxic ML as of now.

For me, I really love that he respects Akshu’s decision and isn’t forcing her to accept her feelings. The only time he questions her is when Akshu gives him a reason to (planning his party, saving him etc). Agree the intensity of his emotions is a tad crazy considering they barely know each other but he has never crossed the line, made mistakes? Sure but so has everyone else, literally every single character. But he hasn’t done anything toxic/unforgivable yet.

On the other hand if he agrees to marry Arohi, even if it’s for his Mothers health, that for me would be unforgivable and possibly the start of his character assasination.

As one of you previously mentioned Abhi isn’t drinking, sleeping around or taking revenge or insulting any of the female leads but on the contrary, he kept quiet when he could have blasted Arohi during the tilak lie or even ruby during the whole trial fiasco. He accepted rejection and is trying his hardest to move on and keep busy with his job.

also those of you saying he is desperate and doesn’t care for Akshu, umm no. The mans in love and was fully confidant his love was reciprocated ( he’s not wrong here either) but he still took rejection better than most. I truly feel bad for him because despite the rejection, every time it is Akshu and her actions that give him a little bit of hope and ofc he holds onto that hope with both hands only to be broken again.


just my opinion but I really do think Abhi is one of the best written characters (if you take away the lack of communication and trying to get Akshu to confess her love in public).

Yaar itni der mein toh chai bhi nahi banti jitni uski maa statement badalti hai......pahel mere abhi ki hassi wapis aa Jayeah...aur aaj Aarohi k liyeah socho.....in real world according to me aisa nahi hota ki behan ne reject kar diya....toh family dusri k liyeah tyaar ho jayeah.....

@ Bold - I am the one who made a topic about Abhimanyu.

Even today when his mom asked him to promise to think about marriage and Arohi. He said he cant promise will think.

And while repairing his bike he says... no no I can not think about it.
