I think makers, through Nimmo are trying to show how some people deal with loss of a loved one in a very extreme manner. She has lost her favourite son and now everything related to him is the only way she can feel his presence in her life, that's why she can't accept Amrita and Ansh being away from her. It is love but very toxic kind. She definitely needs some clinical interventions to help deal with the psychological effects she's facing.
This track has some potential if they use it correctly. Not everyone will just cry and forget the pain, some people have an extremely toxic way of expressing it.
- True that completely. Once again this is so me @Neha. This is what I have always wanted to express regarding Nimmo's character yet never really could do it properly because some people intervene unnecessarily and start unwanted arguments.
- You have written each and every feeling of mine about Nimmo's character very aptly and frankly that shows how "mature" your thinking is. I don't know if it is true yet I have always felt that you are an awesome personality in real life. Well, I can't say anything because I have always trusted and thought many people to be really good individuals but later on they turn out be devils in disguise. Anyhow that's not the matter here.
- Imo, you are absolutely correct regarding Nimmo. I stopped watching the show a few days back yet I used to read what people say here whenever I got time to come here and mostly came to this thread to watch the clips which people posted.
- I don't say anything because I don't watch the show currently yet from the all the episodes I have watched.
- I have been observing Nimmo's character from the beginning of the show and in the beginning I never found her to be a "psychopathic woman". Imo she was just being a "realistic strict mother".
- I found her quite really "annoying and psychopathic" in the episode where she went inside the room with Ansh and locked the doors yet imo atleast she "apologized" which I found to be a bit "realistic" because atleast she accepted that she was "wrong".
- Yet I never found Nimmo to be "psychopatic" in the first episodes and not at all the way the so called "Kabir fans" in twitter claim her to be.
- I mean I don't really understand how come the "Kabir and Amrita fans/fandom" in twitter justify and turn blind to every mistake of these two characters but when it comes to other characters they are so quick to pass their really baseless heavy judgments.
- I feel they are equally "psychopatic" like they are calling Nimmo to be, haha.
- I mean if we see the very first episodes, I never supported Nimmo slapping, shouting or belittling Kabir.
- Yet if we remember "Kabir's birthday episode". I agree Nimmo was very wrong in shouting at him on such a special day yet later on, she was really concerned and did want him to come and cut his birthday cake.
- And that's what the real-life "reality/realism" is all about. In real life, parents berate, scold and beat the kids if they are wrong but that does not mean they don't "love" them. Yes they may have favorites like Nimmo "But which mother doesn't take pains to bring her child to the world, so can she hate that same child whom she took so much of pains to bring to this world?"
- The parents may not love all equally yet still they love all of them because it is a part of them which lives in their children. Until and unless the parents have some really bad history with respect to their children, no mother/father can hate his/her own child.
- Frankly, the way some "psycho Kabir fans" in twitter label Nimmo as a complete villain all because she is "being strict" with him is so strange. It seems these people are some "overly pampered kids" in their family who don't even know the basics of "parenting".
- Also, Kabir is neither an angel. I used to support him in the beginning until his blackmailing part but after that he is acting very "shamelessly".
- He never acknowledges his mistakes and on top of that whatever crimes he does, he does with such an attitude that he will always get away doing it and goes on ill-treating innocent people like his boss. Imo, he is acting like a "creep".
- I used to love Kabir's character because I thought he is like me but no I can't support such criminal behavior like his behavior recently turned out to be. I have flaws just like Kabir yet whatever I'm I accept it and not act criminal.
