I would not say it's out of character for Sai, she left Virat but couldn't leave his memories... Is impulsive and stubborn too... She shared information about her husband with abhi but didn't disclose his name and it's shocking for her too that abhi too has such a close connection with Virat...

Abhi is a good guy but in a SaiRat FF, he is bound to get a heartbreak... But fikr not, he will have a happy ending for sure...

See, Sai had a heartbreak, she chose her self respect and moved out but couldn't do it completely, the memories won't leave her. She didn't want to utter Virat's name but did disclose to abhi about her past. And it's her basic character to be impulsive and stubborn, she is still young, a bit immature and stupid... Plus she doesn't have an elder guide in her life. Sometimes you don't do things, it happens. Like in this story, no one knew from Sai's side that VC is actually Virat, so shock on seeing him there, in front of her eyes, made her judgement clouded at the moment. It can't be expected of her to just go and tell abhi everything about Virat at the moment. She needs to overcome her emotions, think about everything.
