Same sh*t different day. Its stereotypical anyone eats that crap up and that shes still doing item numbers.

Having kids is natural and one desires for it..but with her packed schedule ahead (at least 2 years) and her being almost 39..it seems a battle against time..many women are getting their eggs freezed as well so a pregnancy in mids 40s can be possible..these days there are many options..but katrina has been wanting to have a family since the longest..from 2013 itself..hope it comes true!

He's definitely not a looker, but he is smart and has potential as an actor.

If I were in her shoes, I would any day go with a decent, respectable person with potential than a rich and good-looking dude who has no conception of how to treat a woman right.

Not saying Ranbir was the latter at all (because what do I know what went down between them?) but it's a brave new world with women getting more financial independence and options. We have come a long way from the days when Abhishek was the only eligible option for Ash because of his family legacy. These days women can make a whole host of different choices and still be happy.

I do not think family legacy matters. So called bigshot khandaans of high profile celebs are actually trash. Highly regressive, orthodox people and overbearing in laws or abusive spouses in many cases.

I thought people were comparing in general to any better match Kat deserved. But if it is for Ranbir then I think Kat had a lucky escape from an overbearing and over posessive MIL like Neetu Singh. How much Kapoors acknowledge their DILs and what freedom they give to their women or what loyalty their men have towards their wives is known to all. What drunkard and abusive Rishi used to do to Neetu and how hard Neetu had to work to get accepted in that family is not hidden from anyone who knows a bit from 70s.

There is absolutely no charm to join Kapoor family. Unless a woman is ready to make any sacrifice and keep a smiling face in public for image of family or is ready to take a stand some day even if she gets criticised for it the way Babita was criticised for separating from Randhir.

The only loyal husband in that family and gentlemen were Shammi and Shashi who were devoted to their wives and loved them dearly. The rest...are best not talked of.

I think Kat dodged a bullet by escaping an MIL like Neetu.

I do not find legacy a reason to consider Vicky any less. I found him less worthy only in looks, personality and accomplishment compared to Kat. I hope his family has no overbearing and orthodox relatives or MIL.

He himself seems like he is besotted by Katrina and fascinated by her or feels lucky to get her as a wife. That's good for Katrina.

And his biggest plus point is that he is balanced, he does not lose his shit in public, he is not abusive, he has no alcohol issues, he has no criminal cases against him. He is a clean man.

It is good to have a less high profile family. You do not have to compromise much just to keep false image of family legacy.

Madhuri, Juhi, Raveena, Sonali etc are doing well by not marrying into families with so called towering legacy.

Famous clans are not worth it at all.

The only fans I have seen visibly upset are bhoi fans who are trolling all posts on FB on this wedding and asking what did Katrina see in Vicky.

In their eyes, it is women who leave poor bhoi and not their own man who is commitment phobic. They view bhoi as some Devdas who women use to get ahead in career and then abandon him leaving him alone and heartbroken.

First Ash and now Kat. They did not mind Sangeeta much as she married a cricket team captain.

They almost hate his previous GFs marrying someone else or someone less successful or less handsome than him. The latter makes them wonder what did the woman see in other man that their bhoi did not have.

They forget women need more than just money.

Anyway there is always resentment in heartbroken fans when a popular, desired female superstar gets married. Many felt heartbroken when Madhuri got married. And they feel worse when she marries a man perceived as less good looking than her or way older or previously married. Sridevi, Karishma, particularly faced criticism for their choice of life partner. I remember people rather pitying Karishma, wondering why she chose that Sanjay Kapur guy and saying he looked like 'a goon'. Same way people would wonder why Sridevi fell for Boney of all people.

An actress is usually seen as a dream girl people desire or feel possessive about. They already feel bad when she announces marriage as they know she may no longer work like old days after marriage and they feel their own dreams and fantasies of marrying her someday are also finished and they feel weird fantasizing about someone else's wife, so begin to look for new favourites. They feel envious of the man who gets the lady who was most desired or biggest star once. And feel curious what he had in him to get such a woman and start judging the man themselves whether he deserved their idealised woman or not.

I think the bigger the icon the more possessive people feel about him or her. Like some judged whether Anushka was good for Virat or not or Varun's wife suits him or not.

Most people want equally good looking or hot couple when it comes to celebs it seems. That is why Dharmendra and Hema were easily lapped up and did not face much backlash despite Dharam's previous marriage, kids or their conversion, polygamy. As Dharam was the most handsome man of his time and Hema the most beautiful lady of her time back then.

Celeb cannot escape being judged on looks. I guess that is how audience sees them. They'd probably not mind if Kat married Hrithik for eg or even some CEO or rich NRI businessman who they knew less of. With Vicky it is easier to make comparisons.

It does not matter much as such discussions die down after some time. Though some jilted ex lover's fans may wish for marriage to break down someday. Hehe. Best ignored.

She deserved a billionaire at the very least. Vicky sounds like the name of a roadside rowdy boy. I just hope this guy ain't broke.

Don't just get married for the sake of it or for its grandness. Marriage is above all these the couple needs to understand the vows they taken for each other but most do not understand the meaning of it
