Why Pri hugs Lotus - Pri has said in the intro round , if someone does not like her she will work hard to make them like her. Her genuinely giving importance and appreciation for food is something she has shown consistently in the show . So she tries to hug, kiss Lotus to make her like her .
Pri has always shown empathy to females - be it suruthi,pavani,isai or lotus. Even to Akshara she has hugged and consoled her . Hugging and love for food is synonymous to Pri .
