Imlie accepted his decision in initial days she never came to him he only used to go to her. Even now he is going to her she did her best and now she has given him freedom to choose if he chooses divorce its his responsibility to bear the repercussions of hsi actions

Earlier Noone held him accountable now Imlie holds him accountable so he does not know how to act or respond. No worries post divorce he will go back to status quo with Malini thinking all will be well

And then he will realize but Imlie won't give him any chance n that will pain him more

I think ki Yeh toh hoga hi and Adi will doubt imlie but ĺ hai and Yeh fatega on imlie and she will blast hum and divorce him

Phir Malini karegi shaadi plan n post marriage will abort baby n try sympathy card ki MC ho gaya n try to get sympathy from Adi n he will have sympathy n then Malini PF will happen n then she will cry n blame imlie for all her actions n Adi will believe her n MU continues

Why do I feel family especially Aparna will just realize MC's truth. She wont need any PF as such. Today's Aparna asking Malini questions and then bashing her and even calling her Adi ka dushman gives me this hope.

That only shows that trust for Malini is in his blood. Malini is supreme personality in his life who he will never cross as of now. This also tells why he took telling truth to Malini so lightly. I think, he was sure that once Malini knew that he loves Imlie, Malini will step aside gracefully and she did put up the show to match his expectations. She never shared with him what turmoil she was going through accepting his relation with Imlie. Once or twice it slipped out of her mouth, she covered it up convincingly. This is how I am seeing them too Aarti ji. If we look through the characters then. Adi ji has always kept her on pedestal. She has always been a clean liar, always first let's the other person assume and then weaves her lies around that assumption. This makes her statements not a complete lie which is better that incomplete truth. All this while we were thinking that she is in denial and confusion but she is the only character who exactly knows what she wants. Makers kept her character on hault in order to build the situation around her. Never let her do shak until Adi was completely head over heels for Imlie, their rishta was well established. Her aim has always been Adi and has build her life, likes and dislikes around him. This paves way for a better foundation of a relationship, also a better foundation for extreme manipulation. To a point where the other can't even make truth out of thousands of lies. Right now same is happening with Adi ji too. There are so many MC version of truths that it has become difficult for him to point out a half truth and work his way towards full truth. ( did I just defend Adi ji?🤔)

That being said, Adi ji has always shown his love to be above and beyond but I guess his guilt has a deeper root.

@bold: Shane makers showed it in the previous episode only. MC, again being a bechari and telling Adi ji that she will adjust with Imlie and Adi ji( like a responsible father) choosing bacha over being a husband. This way Adi ji does not look bad for again choosing love over responsibility but does not look bad a lover who is yearning for his wife. The way I am seeing it is how Adi is becoming a white character. With the upcoming divorce too. He chooses Bacha and uski Amma to do justice to towards his "responsibility" ( word reiterated in any and every episode)

Rahi baat to be a good husband then the answer is in front of you with 300 episodes ka build up of a good husband who always chose his wife and love over everything. be it good, bad, worse until it comes to his bacha( and like a good parent, he again and again chooses bacha over anything) he always chose Imlie( making him a good husband). Makers have left window for him to come back and become a good husband again but if he had shrugged off bache ki responsibility then he would have come out as utterly inhuman and still would have never been good enough for either of the ladies. If he is shown as a good father then husband lover can always come after that.
