If these guys copy KD, toh satyanaash hoga. The Rono of KD is so disgusting. Matlabb even at 5 year leap hes in touch with pp but not with his own daughter. He has no idea where his wife/daughter are.

And whole family eventually makes him the "bechaara" who got "wronged" even though he was fully accountable for everything that happened. Which wife will keep on tolerating her husband prioritizing everything over her. She had enough n left and in KD they make it seem like Sai is the unfair one.

Even in ghkkpm they are toeing the same line. Aabas words of wisdom reek of male chauvinism. And if we think of it as Sai's own inner voice then it sucks even more because thats the extent to whivh her self worth n self respect has been dented. Its absolutely ridiculous that they wrote a line that "Virat is so great, coz koi aur hota toh 2-4 laga deta( i.e. slap karta) for your behavior" . Seriously?!

Its one thing for Sai to reflect on being unduly harsh/rude with him sometimes and maybe not hearing him out fully but another to feel like she is lucky to be with a guy who hasn't "slapped her" for her insolence.

Sai is being made to feel guilty but Virat feels only self pity - no guilt for his behavior towards Sai. He feels bad for mishandling her but never reflects on why Sai feels insecure.

That dialogue was actually so disturbing. There is no need to whitewash his character to such extent. If they mess up with sai character and show her weak then it's a good bye frome me.

Sai bai is the charm of this show.. If they want to make shruti like her it's going to another blunder and copy pasted from some EKTA show..

I can't tolerate Sai longing for this a*hole ..thats the main difference from Emon.. Sai keeps her self respect above anything.. It's high time we witness a solo journey

Rono and RK friendship at the end of the show totally put me off. He is practically given her a very important place in his life despite their messy past. Actually that kind of stuff put me off Ghum as well.

Yeah. I found KD extremely problematic. The actors were good and certain scenes/tracks were good. But overall its very problematic. If a guy still maintains a cordial relationship with a woman like pp despite everything that happened but doesn't even know where his wife/daughter are- toh kya hi bolein. Till the end he doesnt understand in KD why his wife left, why she was hurt.

KD doesn't have any story arc period.. That show was meant to bring human psychology.. And the marital discord between the couple who are poles apart from each other.. That's why some of the dialogues are much better than Ghum.. Rono called her 'ohonkari' that means "Arrogant" in Shruti track.. But Viirraht will age shame Sai.. 🤢
