I am not surprised by Mahima and Anand's kids being younger because Mahima is career-oriented and would not have wanted kids during her studies or residency and stuff.

And Akshu is 24-25 years ago and Kairav must have been at least 6-7 when she was born. So that puts him at 32-33.

And Abhi has mentioned that Kairav is younger than him in age.

I hope there is some dialogue like that to explain but I only recall Akshu and he talking about her being younger.
