There are literally moments when Nishant is joking around with Teja and when she leaves and Pratik comes, he starts bitching about her. She keeps going to them even after all this makes her look like a people pleaser.

And this is the same Teja who advised Karan to not go around being in everyone's good books.

Like you said, once she leaves Nishant bitches about her to Pratik, then how is she supposed to know what he has done?
