Just finished watching 19th n 20th Nov episodes n honestly all the women of Monohora were acting over the top.. Mithai while "Requesting" Sid to come back earlier .. Nanda Moharani toh always acts over the top 😐 Pipi too was super hyper while asking Mithai to get ready to bring back Sid.. Rajib's "Sangsar Dharma" annoys me so much that I feel like using scotch tape to shut him 😷 Sree n Nipa were hyper too but in limit..

Sid's scene with Arati's photo was beautiful.. Can't even imagine how it must be to spend your birthday without your parents... Poor Sid 😔 Well in this context I wish the makers should also show Mithai's birthday n how she feels on this day without her father..

@bold: So true! So much is said about Sid and him not having his mother, but there is barely any talk around Mit not having her dad. She must have gone through pain of similar magnitude but reacted and coped with it differently as compared to Sid. But that in no way means her pain is to be undermined😭

Finished 21st n 22nd Nov episode

One innocent query 🤔 Mithai never wear apron while cooking every day meal so why did Pipi made her wear apron n chef's hat for preparing continental dish 🤔

About the whole restaurant scene - I didn't mind Mithai n others planning to drag out Sid from work.. Coz 1st of all it wasn't Sid's responsibility to crack the deal for Tess after what she had done, but still he did it coz after all it was work.. Besides Sid himself wanted to leave which was clear from his behavior at the restaurant.. He already guessed about his birthday party like Mithai pointed out n he was dying to return home this year but didn't knew how... So it was ok if MitSree did that drama.. It didn't really hampered the work..

But then I didn't like Mithai's sudden outburst inside the restaurant after Sid's clients left.. It was so unnecessary n embarrassing... Mithai bhalo manei ei noy je sob somoy ja kore seta bhalo.. Sometimes sophistication is necessary too...

During cake cutting Sid's attitude towards Somoresh was unnecessary too.. And they should have really shown Sid feeding cake to Mithai.. Keo kano kichu bollo na..

@bold I don't think the party scene will be pure fluff...I think/hope that it will be used to put Bori in her place or at least give some indication of where they will take her track

Also given how they are creating suspense around it I think they are planning something

Tyas will have definitely have an agenda to humiliate Mithai/Sid/both

To what extent she will succeed and how they reply we will have to wait and see 😛

On a broader level, I have noticed that the makers are emphasizing a few key themes in the last few track -

1.) Mithai's growing closeness with Samaresh

2.) Sid changing and him taking care of Mithai

3.) Mithai vs. Tess - I have to agree with Siddy buoy that this resha reshi is getting old now and I genuinely hope with this party track something happens in this regard 😳

Hopefully these tracks will be evolved soon so the story can move forward because like you mentioned story curve is falling ekdom flat these days 🥱

I wholeheartedly agree...what annoys me the most about many ITv shows esp Bengali ones is that the identities of the female leads always seem to be constrained only to their husbands and in-laws.

Did Mithai not have a family, an identity before getting married? What happened to her mother's sickness?

What happened to Gulti? In fact during the Bhai phonta scenes, I was wondering why could they have not shown Gulti coming to Monohara to get phonta from his sister?

Nanda and Sree almost live at their baap er bari these days. Pipi also seems to have more or less moved back in. Torsha and Som also seem to visit Reboti quite often. Then why this discrimination with Mithai?😡

These double standards really need to be addressed soon because now they are beginning to seem like inconsistencies that are unraveling the fabric of the show

Here are mine -

1. Bori somehow gets Mithai drunk...Sid rescues her and they get close seeing which Bori fumes 😈 (This would be predictable but possible. However overall it will not take the story forward)

2. Bori's plans flop seeing which she goes into a drunken rage again but the Modak elders come back early and see all this 👏 (I really want this to happen because it will break this impasse situation and hopefully Bori's true motives will be revealed in front of everyone)
