Maybe neil called her because abhi was working non-stop and was tired but refused to take rest. Because if he did then he would remember akshu. So he called her to do something and she comes to hospital and makes him stop and rest after a while abhi falls asleep and akshu has emotional moment with sleeping abhi and then leaves. Abhi wakes up to not find akshu and finds out she left and he goes after her.

There I wrote the whole script, I should get an award.

Its Neil as he seems to be only one interested in getting Abhira together.

He probably says something to Akshu that makes her tell the truth or reveal her true feelings to Abhi. Because as far as I think now abhi will only fight for her when Akshu tells him what she really feels.
