Whenever she cries, her voice gets really squeaky and well, it hurts my ears, and her mouth makes this pout like thing. Either way, it looks quite weird. However, the thing is that throughout this show, she has given brilliant performance in every other scenes, whether it is happy or angry or shocked, which is why I consider her to be an overal good actress. But in the last few episodes, her acting was really weird. All the expressions looked forced, and the scenes looked borderline cringe-y. Now, I would also like to point out that the dialogues writer are also not doing a great job in the last few episodes, because instead of feeling smooth, the dialogues feel forced and bumpy (I hope that made sense. Also, I am talking only about SaiRat scenes.) But in the past also, Neil and Ayesha had managed to give realistic feeling in really poorly written scenes, so I don't understand what is going wrong right now. Maybe they are tired, or maybe not that interested in the current track, but I cannot feel any chemistry or anything in their scenes. And don't even get me started on the latest hug. It was the worst and I am taking into consideration the kkhh one too. It was so forced and so out of blue and just...it would have been better had there been no hug.

The one time when I felt that Ayesha's crying act was brilliant when she was crying infront of Ganesh murti for Virat’s safety. That was awesome.

And also, personally I feel like the best actor in the entire Ghum family is Neil. Even with how shitty his character is being written, he managed to nail every scene. So, judos to him.

i agree only with the part that Neil is best actor on the show. But Ayesha has been improving from day one and her growth has been as beautiful as sairat journey 💗.

Thank you for that.Well in my opinion I partly agree with you, before the marriage and her scenes initially before sai was fine,as I feel there wasn't to act much or show emotions.

In the beginning ,before marriage all she had to do was look pretty and smile ,there wasn't any layer.

And after marriage before sai all she had to do was cry, again no layers or depth to the emotions.

Once pakhi's character started to added different later of emotions ,then she started to fail and she couldn't enact it and we were not able to relate it.

Because now she has to enact love, hate, sadness , longing ness with grace and smartly which sadly she failed.

And u could see that especially from Ladakh episodes, where I felt she couldn't enact it and convey her feelings and it looked cringey.I believe from there her acting got worst ....And now ,well I have no words...

Again this is what I feel...

Only Kishori ji is the best performer in Ghum till date.. Even wheb her character takes 360 degree turns she is still very much convincing than many actors from the team.. I like sheetal as well.. A natural artist..

Neil falters often.. Specially during that Ajinkya drama...Otherwise the way he brings nuance as Virat is just effortless.. Neil is certainly a very intelligent artist..

Ayesha o my girl.. She is doing remarkably good job post Virat got shot.. There is no looking back for her.. She worked on her diction, dialogue delivery and body language in every department.. And she is keep on improving..

Aish I only liked her in the car scene when they were bringing Sai home from GC post SaiRai marriage..And When she played Devi's character in the skit.. Otherwise she is a huge letdown and shows her capabilities are limited to making tiktok videos..

The actress playing Karishma is very natural on screen.. She gives that comical feels to her vileness makes it more enjoyable.. She is like one of those jobless aunties you see around..

Ayesha has been improving and how, especially since the pool confrontation and Vaada revelation track. She was so good in both the confrontations...you could see the pain, the heartbreak but trying to cover up. In a series of bassss by all the actors in the series, I love her 'bas' to Pakhi in the vaada confrontation in front of the family. There onwards there is a constant growth.

Post Aaba death scenes were heart wrenching to the core, the pain was just too raw, so was her acting...with each passing day, her acting is getting refined.

Ousting track and subsequent Virat getting shot, the food gorging scene and the dialogue delivery/ voice modulation was one of her best scenes till date, still she used to lag somewhere here and there. She used to stress unnecessarily on some words, took pauses at wrong places in sentences but lately this has stopped.

Neil is good but he overdoes in emotional scenes, looks bored in scenes where he has to act like Rono. Those closing eyes expressions are overused...the boredom is seen through the screen.

My pov though...

I found both the actors off after the accident sequence. Their was excessive childishness which was intolerable. Virat imitating Sai looked so artificial to me also sometimes over movement of hands by Neil. I agree Ayesha often mess up with her voice modulation badly that it comes out to be irritating.

I think this entire sequence didn't turn out well for them. Initially sairat were playful yet serious, but this track was all about joking with just some moments of seriousness. I think dialogues do play one of the major role even. Also it's directors duty to look at these thing but I think he is least bothered. Also actors not working on their looks puts me off.

But this untill day before yesterday, I found them much better yesterday n even today. I really hope they get needed breaks so that they can us quality content with energy n freshness..

In the whole show... I find kishori mam and Neil are the best... they also had bad scenes here and there... particularly Neil has when he could not connect with the charector like we does... like when he does unbelievable things like doubting Sai or locking etc...... particularly in few scenes with Aishwarya or yogi..... these two actors have a great capability to make other fall flat..... Neil will also become victim of these some times... only kishori mam stands in front these two actors..... rock couple is perfect name given to them.... they hardly emote....

Aishwarya was good till SaiRat marriage... she emoted the pain of Pakhi nicely... and from then till mirchi peesna incident she was OK... and from then there was only down graph in her acting... she hardly give less that 5 expressions in any of the scene... they show Pakhi crying because she can't act properly and show her pain... like SaiRat does... and also she is given many dialogues for viewers to understand what is Pakhi thinking in particular scene as actress can't emote at all.... this also creates problem and makes charector more vile... when Pakhi has to become rude... she emotes that rudeness perfectly... only that rudeness comes perfectly from her... rest tho...

When comes to Ayesha, she has improved a lot amd still improving herself constantly with the guidance of other senior actors if ghum as she herself Says..... but she has to improve her dialogue delivery.... sometimes she fail... and she has to improve in romantic scenes.... she aces cute scene... best part is Neil and ayesha elevate each other in every scene.... particularly confrontation or fighting scenes.... The scenes with each other will have very less mistakes in terms of acting.... their chemistry is rocking because of which many of us still like SaiRat....

Remaining actors are also good.... Ashwini, Ninad, Sonali, mansi and Karishma actors... these are good... they do the job given to them perfectly.....

Shivani and Omkar.... they have still improve.... they overdo or doesn't emote properly....

Adish was good as Mohit... but these new actor doesn't get much SS....

Regarding that hug scene... because of their height difference she has bend to keep head under his head , on his chest.... intentional romance is yet to come for SaiRat as Sai is not yet ready to start couple relationship....

well, I would agree with you to a point. As far as I am concerned here's my POV:

(best to least)

1. BK - she is the most flawless actor in the show, its nearly impossible to find faults with her acting

2. Sunny - I find Sunny the most flawless with expressions or voice modulations after BK, even though he has way lesser screen time than the others

3. Karishma/(old Mohit) - she may be a gray character but she's someone who has always delivered above expectations, similarly old Mohit was good with his expressions even though I found the character development to be lousy at times

4. Ninad - he's always good, until recently I thought I had seen him in some show I used to glimpse at times & realized he's the one who played the role of Narad Muni in Devon ka dev Mahadev.

5. Neil/VC - usually Neil is good but why I demoted is his performance - like

showing OTT anger or expressions, he tends to overdo it & has a cringy feeling. He tends to mix up serial acting with theater acting. I skip such scenes for my own sanity

6. Sonali/Devi Tai - she's good in her selfish character. I have often found Devi Tai's character overdoing her acting but I can surely bare her presence

7. Ayesha/Sai - the Ayesha whom I watched in the early episodes is quite an contrast to the latest one. Her voice modulation still irks me though, she doesn't seem to get the balance right. Sometimes I tend to imagine whether the character demands such a tone or it was failure of the actress to deliver it

8. Omkar - he overdoes things at times but in overall a bearable presence on screen

9. new Mansi bua - she's better than the replaced lady

10. Samrat/Shivani - the Samrat in the earlier episodes was good unlike the Samrat now. His dialogue delivery is bad, doesn't match with the expressions or the scene at half the times. I would club Shivani a bit similar to Samrat, I don't like her screen presence much - when she starts dialogues, they look like toned down - doesn't go with the flow.

11. Aishwarya/Pakhi - she was good until she didn't have negative shades come out of her. Since then it has been more worse than good. Rarely she does come up with decent results but its a like a lucky draw these days.

12. new Mohit/Pulkit/old Mansi Bua - I find none of these convincing in any scenes. Old Mansi Bua lady used to cry for now reason & it looked filmsy & she had very poor voice modulation. Pulkit the less said the better.

It is a crime to speak against the QUEEN. Just kidding. 🤣 😛

I like Ayesha's acting overall. Sometimes her dialogue delivery is bad but chalo it's ok. As I like Sai, I hardly pay attention to the acting. I start only when Sai irritates me with her childish behavior. 😆

Neil is definitely one of the best actors even though I wish the writers, director and all made Veeru a little less rotlu. 😆 No wonder Neil is among the best actors.

Edit: I also want to add that sometimes we get bored seeing the same faces and start judging every scene. When a show starts the characters and story are fab till a point when characters and story both get butchered. So we find the acting bakwaas too.

@Bold - This! I have long since felt he needs to do something else other than closing his eyes and shaking his head like some long-suffering person. It feels he is least interested and would rather be somewhere else than in the scene. I loved him in DABH loved how he improved from his debut serial. But now I feel he is on a downward spiral, having been there, done that.

Personally I like Kishori Shahane and Shailesh Datar (Ninaad).

I may be going against popular opinion, but I do like Aishwarya's acting. The hatred she generates is proof enough.

Ayesha is good, improving.

Ashwini inadequate. The way she sometimes adopts a singsong voice to deliver dialogues is cringing.

Samrat can do a lot better, but then again I feel the actor sometimes looks disinterested. It must be tedious standing as a spectator in most scenes. I feel it would have been different if there was more meat to his role.

Okayy...so, I read all your replies. I agree with some of them and disagree with others, which is why I thought of posting my point in a more elaborate manner. Just to say, that this post is not in reply to anyone's comment.

I adore Ayesha, and I agree that she has shown a brilliant growth throughout the serial. I have pointed it out before too, that her acting has improved so much that it deserves appreciation, and it is rightfully getting it. If we are talking about Sai's character, it is a nice one and to be frank, the only character that has somehow managed to remain consistent till now. As for how much I like her character, let's just say, a tad bit more than Virat's (not the butchered one...the pre-butchering Virat is the one I am talking about.)

But given that I don't really connect the actors with their respective characters on-screen, so, how much I like Ayesha or don't like her, doesn't really have much of an effect. Neither does my feelings regarding Sai's character and her story arc. This post and this entire pov was solely, and purely based on Ayesha's acting. Not her acting potential, just her current acting. Now, I know that there are a lot of factors that play a role here. Dialogues, story, direction, to name a few.

So, why I felt that something might be off here was because I have seen these actors performing brilliantly before too, with just as bad script and as bad direction. So, it felt weird as to why I couldn't connect to her now. And of course, the weird dialogues and story is a reason here which is why I mentioned it in the OG post. Maybe she is tired, or maybe she feels disconnected with her character. But still my main issue was that I didn't find her acting to be as good as it used to be, whatever might be the reason. And that was exactly why I made the post.

I know that she is a good actress, but her acting do need improvement. Just because she went from level zero to level 9 in a really short time(which is phenomenal btw) doesn't mean that she shouldn't improve and try to reach level 10.

Her acting is great but it needs work. Sometimes, and these are the times which stop her from reaching level 10, she overacts, especially during the childish scenes. there have been some scenes where her acting was wonderful. For eg. during the time when she was selecting one of Virat's fingers to see whether she would be selected for the college or not and jumped when she chose the yes finger. But there had also been times where it felt weird and off, like the escalator one.

Sometimes, especially during the crying scenes, she gives hard expressions. Now, I understand that crying is one of the most difficult scenes to master, but still it feels as bit forced.

So. you see, she is far from the best, but even then I enjoyed watching her, except for the last few episodes.

There! I hope I was able to express just what I meant by my OG post and also, was able to bring my pov out properly.

Tagging some of you.
