After watching the episode I don’t think this is khyali pulao.This is the small loop hole writers have provided Shiva. It doesn’t really work because they have put so much poison in his words towards Raavi and also deliberately misunderstanding her- you do wonder why she continues to love let alone like him

There is a scene where he is talking to himself (just before Raavi comes with the flowers) and he is scrunching up his engagement kurta in frustration. Disha keeps calling and he cuts her call. At that time he says - words to this effect that he is stuck because of the kasam 🙄

Can this happen

Raavi throws the ring

Shiva sees and takes it as a sign (for the love of God just take the Damn sign)

Suman orders him to get the ring , he goes finds it but hides it meanwhile the truth of divorce comes out , family leaves after doing beizzati of Suman 😡

Deesu leaves for Pune

Everybody is dumbfounded and too overwhelmed to react , they all retire to their room

Shiva and raavi alone in the angan, takes out the ring makes her wear it as a promise ring

Promise that he will not hurt her again , tells her he never questioned her character but only wanted to set her free but his intention was not to question her character

Not once he asked ravi to tell suman the truth abt their marrg did he?..I hvnt watched the episode..so not sure..Reading the LU, I think he just told himself alone that ravi was not doing anything to stop it..and he is bound by kasam..

Why didn't he tell ravi to speak to suman since he is unable to with all tha kasam nonsense.. seriously why didn't he tell anyone else..he could have told anyone in thag house and they would have done the rest.. 🤪

This is exactly I didn't want ravi to confess first at all..this shiva is questionable..his so called love and even ethics are questionable.. confession from ravi will only keep that question forever in their relationship..I really want to know what this shiva would do if ravi doesn't confess or stop engagement..

@bold- agreed. To add to that, he also says something about niyat nahi ho rahi hai. I understood that to mean that despite everything, he doesn't want to engaged either.

Also, if I watch today's episode forgetting the sbs segment where divorce was cancelled, technically, there's no problem in him going ahead with the engagement. Yes, his silence is problematic but Raavi calling him gira hua is also problematic based on what we're shown in the episodes so far.

So I'm treating this as one of their old fights where both blindly lash out at each other.

@ bold- why is it problematic for you? She did in private but he had the audacity to call her characterless in public and Raavi has questioned him few times as why he said that, yet there is no response. The moment she says ghiri hue insaan, he gets all charged up and challenges her.

So if Raavi has to do everything like save the marriage, stop his engagement, stop the divorce, accept that he changed for her, openly declare her love for him, What will Shiva do for her? except for jumping into the well and emotionally blackmailing her.
