Its one thing to not stay in touch and another thing to think he is dead,

Virat is being shown as so dumb that it is possible he assumed Sada is dead.

He can also say mera sach aur tumhara sach bahut alag hain and have one-eye tear expression with a smile.

I think he would be a recurring character given his bond with Virat. May be he had communist views in college, rebel and all. Now he will encounter Virat during his transfer. May be later comeback when he is apparently targetted by police and leaves his 'love' with Virat?! current plot is to build the strong bond between virat and sadanand. So later when he takes care of his wife, there is a justification why.

He can take care of her, but all I want is for him to make Sai part of it too. Why cause her another insecurity? Moreover, that lady falls for him , they should just tie her to Sunny otherwise. He is bachelor. no? sunny and shruti track will be good and we can see Sunny, for once as a responsible human instead of just being a second fiddle to Virat.

For some reason I don't think this is related to Shruti track. Why would Ghum makers fast forward so many months when their fav hobby is to stretch😆. This one I feel just a friend who will get killed

No I think he will kidnap Sai, and in the process bring them closer. He will escape (Virat has bad luck in this) and come back an year later when police will target him. Thats when Shruthi will come. This track is to make audience and Sai understand that Virat and Sadu are thickest of thick freinds, to the level that Virat might put her safety before their baby's arrival in the future.
