Melody singers are usually a very safe bet for an Indian audience unless it's some big College fest like IIT's or DU. No one hates a sweet mellow singer but they are never considered as great performers which doesn't matter in India but western audiences love a performer.

I have a feeling that by end Jan when the peak winter wedding season is done, Piya Ji Ke Sang will have crossed 50 M for sure and maybe even much more.

Ofcourse there is an audience for any kind of artist anywhere in the world. An Adele has sold out shows. Mariah and Whitney were huge concert acts all over the world. As long as a singer knows how to captivate an audience, that's all that matters. It's just that there is more emphasis on performance in west than in India.

Since we earlier talked about views - so I checked- Facebook and IG counts views, even video or a reel plays for 3 seconds (as they are non paying platforms for views)- so even while anyone is on FB or IG a video or a reel starts playing automatically, even if you don't want to watch it, and a view will be registered, so FB or IG views are of no consequence and do not matter at all. Whereas YT is much stricter in counting views, as they pay for it. So their views matter more.
