It might sound like an unpopular opinion in this forum but I found arohi's acting Monotones.

The character is fascinating and has so many shades till now she was just portraying disgust and irritation and I must say she did decent job with it. But today when she finally got the chance to showcase some new emotions she failed horribly at that. Her acting was so superficial and I felt disconnected.

Oh yess... Even i felt this with her acting today....infact it did not suit her at all... It looked more like rehearsal than actual take...

Oh, yes. Everyone was praising Arohi's acting in the first few days, though I didn't find anything special. Like people assume it's difficult to do negative roles. It's actually not. It's difficult to do positive roles, because you have got lot less material and the bit of overdose, you get over the top sweetness and it's a put off and that's what I felt about Akshara's acting in the first two days.

Whereas negative roles (talking only about ITVs, not about amazing grey and negative characters out there I the movie world or web series world) are easier I feel because you do it good or bad, you are gonna get the hate or dislike.

Anyway, I felt okayish about Arohi in the beginning. But watching yesterday's and today's episode, all that Sharmaana and those excited over the top acting, I literally felt embarrassed on her behalf.

Your not alone, she could have done great, given the first few scenes of the show, but it was just bland and🤢.

Her acting is a bit repetitive. Hopefully she should improve. I guess it is her first show

I completely agree.... I have even said this I guess of what EK told about Harshad during Tere Liye promotional videos.

Doing positive roles are harder because you have make the scene not look bland or overdose of sweetness.... While in negative roles you can show the hate and disgust quiet openly...

Karishma did good in first two episodes... She beautifully shown the hate and non attachment from Akshara great but she was not confident about the showcasing happiness and those butterflies in her stomach. But one good thing she did she showed that she is not in love with Abhimanyu... He is just like a trophy she wants. And also she is delusional.

Today Pranali's acting shines.... She was confident that the rishta came for her and was concern about her sister too but with the confidence Aarohi spoke and then Manjiri writing Aarohi and Abhi name on paan ka patta, she got confused.... Nd then feel betrayed ... Nd slowly she thought she was just building castles in the sand... That she mistook Abhimanyu good behaviour as he is interested in her and that lead to her heartbreak... Her masking her emotions... The fake smile... The pain... Beautifully portrayed by her.

Yes this!!, her role was easy till now, she just had to do "I am better than everyone else around" thing, and she did it well while Akshara's character has scope to do so much, she was being happy, sad, scared, confused, loving and all those more range of emotions and Pranali did it well and she is growing in her character even better now. I too was not getting ohhhh the actress is so much better than the lead thing going on here in the forum. Well here we are!! Though yes Karishma is totally new and she will learn with time.

She is a great actress, I think the only reason we felt that way is we haven't seen her so happy and blushed before.

That's because she didn't get a chance to show these little symptoms because the show is running at full speed.

If they had slowed down, we would have gotten used to her actually being happy and in love instead of jumping right into it.

yes I also like her because I feel she’s more natural..it doesn’t look like she’s acting….and I like that…today’s scenes I thought were fine,. Arohi shows emotion when she’s angry but she’s always still fairly calm… so today her excitement was subdued maybe because she has this calm personality..which people who study Medicine often have..So I think the director want her to have this calm personality where she’s always cool….and it’s different from itv heroines who are usually loud, emotional and dramatic..😂
