Seasoned singers are turning up to record. It helps build a career if you have your own songs, especially for the idols.

Can't comment on the quality as I am not a connoisseur, but sometimes simple songs light a spark when great quality tracks with great singers bite the dust. Matter of churning out many as no one really knows the magic formula. Even R D Burman lived on hope before the release of his songs (I have read this in an interview somewhere, but can't remember where) despite their quality.

Given a chance Idols would execute such songs as it matters to them. Can't say what the lyricist gets out of it if he is not paid.

Lyricist is Shabbir. He must be busy in celebrating the success of his another song Hone Laga from Salman's movie Antim

Sayli has sung in her over-sweet voice which personally I don't like much. Nihal has done a great job. I didn't like the overall composition much. I see it is at around 680 K after 10 hours which isn't great.

I don't know why HR is adamant to release songs back to back, eventhough I feel good that idols are getting opportunities but people are losing interest which includes lyricists may be. Eventhough most of them are blockbusters not even one song will be remembered after couple of years as the compositions are not fresh. Neither I believe it will help singers in their careers. They need some quality songs which will be remembered by normal audience not just fans to boost their career.

When I think of big singers and their career defining songs, I rarely think of an HR song. And those songs were huge hits at time and are good compositions.But it helps to keep a singer in the limelight till they get that one big classic hit song. As for why he keeps releasing so many songs, I think it's just they way YouTube works. Quantity over Quality.Its keep the audience attention,the more content the better.
