If that would have been the case, the biggest impediment in their relationship would have still been his lingering feelings for Manushi and maybe he would have started playing detective earlier on in the marriage and things would get messy if Manushi turned up again because he would have jumped train. A few incidents after the marriage happened because of the ongoing family politics in the midst of all the rasams and his misunderstandings.
