Yeah, even I was confused at some places. I had actually stopped watching after the way Shivaay marries Anika blackmailing her using her brother. So when I saw this in promo on TV, I was really confused 😂😂. Later, around last year I tried watching it on Hotstar (thanks to Lockdown 😂) and that’s when I understood what all had happened 😂. The team was perfect and the show was amazing. Had nice tracks, fun, family time, bonds between characters. Too good.

I agree but I find him to be too old compared to the FL in this show. Don’t seem to be liking it. I feel that they shouldn’t have chosen him for this.

I love learning about different cultures and cuisine. I have written the list of sweets/condiments my mother and I made this Diwali (representative images only 😆). Please share what was made at your home. 🤗

P.S It's late and I need to sleep. Hopefully I'll get to read your replies tomorrow. Good night. 😊

Wow, looks great Nethra.

I love Adhirasam.

Since I am not keeping well, didn’t make anything this time. We bought stuffs and my mom/family made the and couriered them along with some snacks from grand sweets 😃. Mom also can’t make much since she isn’t keeping well too due to her age, so she sent some snacks from Grand Sweets😀.

If you are interested to know what we make in general, I can share what we make and what I used to make when I was in Chennai.

In addition to the below three, I make ribbon pakoda, boondi, Kara sev, om podi and use some parts of it and make mixture. I also make Rava laddoo, kaju katli, gulab jamun and some new sweet every year. In addition to these, make legiyam which is like Chyavanprash which is the first thing that we eat on the day of Diwali after taking bath and wearing the new dress. We actually sit on manai, mom used to apply nalangu (something like Alta applied on the feet), then apply gingerly oil on the hair which is heated with Ajwain in it, give everyone some betel leaves and then we burst crackers ( Sara vedi) after applying oil before taking bath 😀. That’s my favourite part on the day of Diwali. Used to try to be the first one to burst crackers in our street or area 🤣.

Also, my mom used to make coconut barfi too every year which I am not a fan of 😂.
