What MU that inlie never loved me is what aid will feel. To him he has seen how imlie has placed ms and sindoor Over everything. She has proved that even when he didn’t even wants her and when she said that in her upbringing ppl only marry once . He has got to realise sooner rather than later that imlie walking away like that is the biggest decision she ever made and not one she would take lightly like throwing a tantrum. Why should he? Even if I view him in any ways, why ? For the baby? Didi wanted to so many times even when imlie left after the janamastami night? Even when she was heartbroken after the court case/ he kept saying inlie is my wife: to me now bs will in his mind nibahoo the rishta one way.

They need to balamce the epis really well.. We will have to see didi n adi in same frame pata nahi kab tak.. Ye torture kaisa jhele jaayega

But agar Adi ne sach main Malini se shaddi ki, even then I believe that the makers will twist it in a way to get Adilie back. If Adilie was not end game, we would have not got this painstaking situation where the entire family wants them together - it makes absolutely no sense for the makers to give that. Hence according to me either this is completely false, else Adi is upto something. If at all they do go this way, I will still watch to see how they take it and try to make sense of that as well, coz till date the makers have not disappointed me, even with their most contrived tracks.

But in a serious note i too don't think they'll take marriage route.. It might look like it'll happen but nahi hoga yaar.. That's my vishwas.. Untill they plan to blow that into smithereens..

So my 2 cents on what we witnessed today:

1) Unpopular opinion - I did not find anywhere that Adi doubted Imlie. His questioning seemed valid to me because he wanted to make sure this issue was over in front of the very person who started all this crap. He wanted to make sure that tomorrow no one will point fingers at him saying you believed Imlie only because she is your wife and did not even bother to find out what actually happened. The problem with him was hid timing and his utter inability to read the room when needed. He said a very valid point that he has also defended Imlie many times when Malini tried to accuse her of things he knows she could never have done, but that is the thing - what his eyes show and what his heart says were warring today. Adi's process has always been that whenever he wants to expose the truth of anybody, he makes sure to find irrevocable proof that the the person did what he accuses them of doing. That day on the roof the gun was in SK's hand, Malini was shot and Imlie was been pointed as the culprit. None of it made any sense to the man, so he went to the one person he knew who would give his the assurance that what he believed in his heart is the actual truth. If he truly doubted her, he wouldn't have said that what you say will be the ultimate truth for me in this case - he would have asked for proof to prove her point. I am not defending the guy again - he is an ostrich and dumb to the point of me wanting to throw a freaking chappal on him, but today his biggest mistake was not realizing that Imlie was the end of her tether and his question just tipped her over.

2) I applaud the fact that the T's did not need that today, that journey was reached because of their journey of disbelief in Imlie. After everything we all expected them to flip, but their solid support showed that the family has finally accepted what we all did from day 1 - it was, is and will always be Adilie as endgame, no matter what anyone thinks otherwise. This gives me the hope that Adi's dialogue - jab hum galtiyan karte hai toh family hi hoti hai jo hume saath laati hai, will be pivotal here. Even the usual flipper - Radhaji was supporting Imlie because she knows just how much Imlie has done for her kids and her family. Apana's unwavering support was what Imlie had always craved and today her standing up to AC & MC for Imlie showed that Aparna is going to be key in getting these 2 back together. I am so glad that for Aparna, she finally found the bahu she always wanted and loved all this while.

3) ST deserves all the applause she has always received for this performance - she was splendid. Her modulation and her performance today gave me goosebumps. Her questioning him - Aap hovat kaun hai was so well done that I could feel the shiver that went down the backs of everyone standing there (excluding AC & MC). Imlie today was just done. I remeber people in teh forum asking what her tipping point was - well they seem to have gotten their answer today. SK getting arrested for a crime he did not commit and Adi asking her what happened, which to her felt like an accusation just finished the last remnants of her patience and her dhairya for holding on to this relationship which had become almost like a burden to her. Her blasting at him and saying what she had been harboring in her heart all this time was required to cleanse both of them and their relationship of the built up toxicity from Malini's presence in their lives since the last few months. Imlie's inability to reach Adi, knowing that her side is true, just broke her today and that was visible in her reaction and choice to just finish this rishta from her end today.

4) The removal of the symbols reminds me of how she cried when Adi wanted her to remove the symbols after their marriage because he did not believe in them and how utterly shattered she was because of that. Today Imlie removed them to rid herself of every shackle that bound her to this rishta that she does not subscribe to anymore. Then Adi did not want to be reminded of his inability to stop what he felt was an incident that did not involve his choice and today Imlie chose to remove the symbols of the relationship that was no longer appreciating or respecting her or her choices. This was needed, because no matter how much we want to romanticize it, the current relationship between Adi & Imlie was made in the worst of situations and still carried the shadows of a past relationship that refused to move on. Untill all those ends are not tied up, Adi & Imlie will not be able to have a genuinely happy relationship together. I am glad that their rishta was done, because it means that it is complete reset to what had become a toxic triangle. With Imlie ending the relationship and Malini giving Adi the divorce, technically right now all three have been set free of Adi's mistakes 260 episodes back. His choice to bring 3 people together in a bigamous relationship without clearly resolving any one of them properly, has gotten all of them to this juncture today. Now going forward, who Adi chooses to be with to spend his life, will determine the path of those 2 people who will be starting this journey afresh. The memories of the past will still remain, but it will no longer be holding them to each other because of destiny, but because of choice to want to be with each other. We all know that it will be Adi & Imlie and now their journey will be to deal with the current issues (Malini to be precise) and then heal each other's wounds to finally move ahead in their journey together.

But imlie was the one who could walk off when felt or was made to feel like she doesn't belong there.. Adi was never from the start emotionally strong.. He always tried to downplay his insecurity of imlie leaving him by covering it under the blanket of imlie feels insecured about him n M...

Banda toot k bhikar jaayega.. He most horrid fear is coming true.. He might go in shock for an epi or two.. Itna ki the trauma shock of Janmashtami n court room will feel nothing..

His brains working or not will have to be seen.. But hum going back to M even for baccha is nit something i can digest...

Thanks re Juvvi. You also write so well. I feel that people assume that Adi hi har baar galat hai, Imlie ka undeserving hai, usne Imlie pe bharosa nahi kiya and everything under the sun. But the funny part is that this is the same guy who was willing to get buried alive for wronging Imlie and making her lose sight of her dreams. This is the same guy jo sach main puri duniya se, apne pariwar se aur even Malini se lada and said Imlie humari patni hai, till Imlie herself belived it. While he is right now not the best person and you really feel like shaking him, I try belive his core is pure and true to Imlie. Today he was shattered more than Imlie because he realised his words have hurt her enough to give up the symbols that she held on too as SM ka aashirwad. He understands that his words have ruined her trust in him so much that she chose to walk out rather than answer a question that demeaned her existence according to her. This is going to eat at him so much, that what will be left of him will be of no use to Malini anymore. Even if tomorrow they show him marrying Malini for any stupid reason, she will still not win, because at the end of the day Adi will still be Imlie's husband in heart and soul - all she will get is a shell of him and nothing else.

There’s a lot of negative bias against Adi in the main forum and across social media. This is something I don’t quite understand either. 😕 Yes, the man has some frustrating tendencies, but he’s as human and flawed as Imlie is. Why not cut him some slack once in a while?

When Imlie was in her constant DD jaap mode to the extent where she was ready to let go of Adi, she got a lot of flak, but it was nowhere near as toxic as what Adi keeps getting when he’s put on the burner. Why is it easy for viewers to overlook Imlie’s mistakes but not Adi’s? Just because she comes from a place of selflessness?

It is Adi’s selfishness that brought them together and binds them together. It will be Adi’s selfishness that will propel him to fix his mistakes so he can win her back. He loves her to that extent — is there something wrong with that? Yes, he is befuddled and confused and in denial, all things that drive us out of our minds , but the underlying reason behind all this is that he’s a simple-minded man. He is not one who can easily identify deceit and duplicity, not like Imlie can. It is a weakness that has been taken full advantage of, and by the end of this track, life will have helped him overcome it in a harsh way. For better or worse, Adi knows only one truth — Imlie is the love of his life. It hurts her that he can’t trust her now, but does Imlie doubt Adi’s love for her? Absolutely not. She would have left a long time ago had she had any uncertainty on that front.

People who say he’ll go back to MC clearly haven’t been watching the same show as us, or picking up the same nuances that we have. Adi doesn’t need loud declarations of love to proclaim how he feels — he looks at Imlie, and we know. 😳 He has wholeheartedly accepted her with all her flaws. Even in the worst of situations, he has never let the thought of leaving her enter his mind. She’s walked away several times, sometimes for justified reasons, sometimes unjustified, but he has never quit on them. It is because he’s emotionally weak, yes, but he is only so for Imlie. If that is not a man in love, tell me who is. He needs to be given the benefit of the doubt, because that man will redeem himself and swing back as the AKT we all love. I have high hopes on him. 😊
