I can't stand the 90's bollywood music except Shahrukh movies. It was all the same Nadeem- Shravan type of songs very little variety. 2000-2005 on the other hand was a great mix, different type of songs, singers etc.

early 90's were boring with similar kind of monotonous songs by kumar sanu in bulk quantity he used to sing every second song and with similar kind of singing all over again and again , one can not differentiate the songs of him in that time period they used to sound so similar , things got changed in late 90's with abhijeet in full form and sonu nigam entry and introduced some westernised passionate singing like satrange re or yeh dil dewana meanwhile udit was a common factor in kumar sanu and sonu nigam days so yeah i will say best is in between late 90's to somewhere around 2007 with om shanti om , jannat , janeman and faana , aja nachle , salam e isqh , tara rampum, sawanriya,

1988 to 2005 was best

1988 tezab and qayamat se qayamat tak

2005 dosti barsaat kyoni ki dus parineeta etc

90's man, untouchable
