Yeah true. Maybe something before the main event because the makeup etc. seems to be already done.

The thing that came to my mind immediately when I saw this in the morning was the huge change is body language compared with singing this in front of AR Rahman. I think two reasons. One is obviously growth in self confidence, and the second perhaps is the importance attached to AR Rahman by her.

Golden oldies well received by abroad audiences as these songs are evergreen and never feel bored hearing them. Every singer bears this in mind. As most of the audience are older generation.

New songs forgotten within few weeks as some of them don’t have any meaning, or suitable for dancing at wedding reception etc.

For Leicester, hope organisers have included one or two gujju songs or garbas or /bhajans

Now Aru needs her own songs. I hope she will not be branded as 'home singer' of any composer/ music company. She should get oppprtunity to work with all.

Arunita has always been a bit of an enigma in singing circles.
She has always been highly regarded as an artist. But her public appearances did not match her talent.

She was publicly active as long as her ZEE Talent contract lasted fulfilling her obligations.

She then disappeared from sight without a trace for years and emerged again with her web series songs like "Jodi Take Chai". Idol followed soon after.

She did do gigs, but nothing significant. Local stuff.

This time she has multiple sources of engagement including Sony, Octopus, her Ad Agency?, HR etc. The acid test is when her contractual obligations get over. She should have rolled into a new phase of life by then, hopefully that will keep her busy. Time will tell. 21 wil be her turning point in life I feel.
