Same here . This is my 2nd desi show after IPKKND and RR replaced ASR for me big time . They could’ve shown better tracks without Mandar & now Easha . They wasted everything and now Ending abruptly . . Yeah. So much potential. After IPKKND this was the only show i was so passionate about until the mandhar track but even then i held on for sai and Shivangi. We will never see them cast again together so it breaks my heart to see this jodi broken. I hope they atleast end it properly unlike IPKKND. I was so disappointed with that. Anyway what to do. Their episodes are already written and the story line has already been written on how it will end so we just have to get thru it.
This is so sad…if they wanted to wrap up they could have easily come up with a positive track..making it enjoyable for the viewers/fans…it’s unfortunate that even towards the end they wanted to fill the plot with so much negativity and cringe..
They didn’t have to rile up the fans to end a show…
Sai and Shivi’s chemistry got wasted…they never utilized the couple…
How I wish they had done an EK or Gul show…Their shows are at prime time, They present their leads the best way possible, they utilize their Chemistry to the fullest which helps the actors to get the necessary exposure and popularity…their shows at least run for couple of years…
My only grouse is we won’t get to see this pair again…they had such an awesome chemistry which MHRV never utilized…

It's essentially a function of
1) How popular the lead actors are (either individually or as a couple)
2) How much of the story is still left to be explored- especially if the same folks are brought in again. For example KRPKAB S1 was a huge success, S2 and S3 not so much
3) Is the channel open to a repeat pairing? Generally you never get S2 because nobody repeats a pairing. A rare example of a repeat pairing is Nakul-Disha for BALH 2 (they did PKDH on SP around a decade ago)
From what I've seen Sony are perhaps more open to the idea of a second season (their shows don't garner TRP anyway, and even BALH 2, decent as it is with EK's backing, is doing only 0.6 there). With Star, the chances are practically zero.
If there is plenty of demand, they could probably do a finite S2 on the web (Hotstar), but usually money tends to be an issue here, so it's rare.

If SaiShi do come together on another OTT platform with some other producer, it will have to be as another story- no connection to MHRW whatsoever.
Still- all things considered, 250 episodes is a pretty decent run. It's a nice number of epis to show a good story without going over the board on drama and villains. I reckon some of the writing (especially from the beginning of the Mandar track) could've been crisper if the writers knew it was going to be a finite show and they didn't have to stretch it unnecessarily.
