As I said I am not well versed with how this views works, but i believe telugu music directors are much better than any existing hindi music directors. You can count my view as biased but most of telugu hit songs do have good lyrics and compositions along with singers. Bollywood or Hindi industry has a lot to learn from regional industry like telugu and Tamil. I don't think those views are manipulated either because I know even general audience listen them many times not just fans because of the quality of song.

Nope. I tested this. My daughter uploaded her dance video on her YouTube channel and me and my husband were the ones who added first 20 views before she shared it with any one just to see how this works. Each view counts only thing we need to view it fully no fast forward.

Ps: that was her first upload and she created channel just that time so no subscribers that time. So iam sure other than 2 of us no one knows about it.

Youtube treats a view as a count when you play video for 30 seconds or more.

Yes. Thanks for details. That's how stars or singers who have diehard fans get additional advantage because their fans contribute to large view by watching the video on repeat.

Good learning. So what i read was obviously wrong.
So, people with 2M fans just have to ask their fans to watch 5 times for 30 secs to register 10M hits!

That is not too much to ask of fans!

Yes. Now I understood that's how kanata lagna type songs are getting to 100M + in a week or so. Even if Neha's fans watch twice she will easily get there where as others need their fans to watch 10 times which is a big ask if song is not good. HR is cleverly picking singers who have strong fan bases.

This is very common with K-pop fans who mass stream the videos. Fandoms are very important nowadays. But I find HR channel very Shady.
