A show that was supposed to be progressive is stuck in the most clichéd points.

And Priyanka being added to the Anjol story has just pissed me off. One good thing about this show is also going to be ruined by a third wheel. Priyanka the delusional bi*** (I don't know the forum rules. Can I use that word?) needs to be written out.

I am a bit unclear about forum rules also because I have been censoring my posts every time Chandana, Naina and Chatterjees are brought up lmao.

I have not watched Anupama but I saw a YT review that spoke of how it took too long before she finally stood up, yaar utna patience nahi hai mere paas if this show plans the same. Its as if Anurag is egging her on to develop her voice and I do NOT want Anurag's involvement for this part of her character.

As of now I do not mind Priyanka. That said I would hate it if they did the whole comparing girls thing ka drama again- first it was Kajol-Shreya, Kajol-Naina throughout the show and I cannot deal with another comparison happening at this point. Also gosh Kajol really needs a good friend- they could utilise those other siblings to show more friendship, or maybe get another good guy friend whom Anurag can get jealous of lmao that would be a good sequence.

And yes I really like Harshad- I hope he leaves the show, because he deserves better characters and we are extremely sick of Arjun

Totally agree with you guys. Villians are normaly spicing up the show. Here in this show the villians are such pathetic creatures tht they are sooo hard to digest.

From Arjun to Noyna to Chondana to Priyanka to Chatterjees....good heaven. Bunch of delusional idiots all of them.

The only saving grace of the show were Anurag as usual and Sharmila Pishimaa for telling Noyna to f***off in a decent way

You are talking about tried and refused Productions review? I caught that too and couldn't agree more that I don't have that much patience to watch a show that is showing the female protagonists growth at a snails pace. Luckily for me I got on the Anupama bandwagon pretty late in the day (like recently). I used to watch GHKKPM where the female protagonist is strong and a little out of the box and she gives as good as she gets from the beginning. But in case of TSBTSP I am here from the beginning and starting to pull my hair out. I am even skipping Kajol's lonely monologues. Only Anjol for me for the time being.

BTW on a side note if they show Kajol singing in an episode, why do they mute her? I mean if you are trying to show that she is a great singer then have someone provide vocals for her, it would be more believable. Is it because of budgetary constraints?🤔🤔 Have the makers spent too much money on an excessive number of characters and can't hire a good vocalist?😜😜

No idea why, but that is all that they are doing adding useless, new and redundant characters.

Instead of focusing so much on world building they should on character growth.

The answer to that I dont know - I have only started to watch colours & Rishtey tv for past 15 years but mostly colours tv so have not grown up watching Indian tv...however so far have not ever abandoned a serial if I take a liking to it even if I dont like story line ..it would have to be really bad for me to switch channel.

With Thoda I missed the first 15 epi so dont know much about what Kajols character was like prior. However I am willing to give it time for her character to develop...perhaps I am looking at her growth through a different lens ..she is assertive today with Anurag...but with her family less so & is willing to be the punching bag for Chondona & Nania..perhaps because she feels aware that inadvertently by being with Arjun events took place that led to Vishus death

The story line is tagged through as her journey of development that starts from Vishus death managing business; family and relationships esp romance...she is still grieving and is fighting to come up for air..the only support she has excluding Naina & Chondona are her younger siblings who dont have a voice as yet and her Pisshima who supports her but not when a voice of dissention is needed against Chondona in my opinion - her uncle & aunt are sideline characters who dont do much...her support comes from Pisshima Rajesh and Anurag...with him there is definite communication even if at cross purposes.

So I can see different sub ports going on and will wait to see how her character develop and I would like to trust that Kajol will come into her own over time else I will be disappointed.

Kajol will go against Chondona and will help out at Durga Puja and yes all hell will break loose once again and no doubt lead to tears..but she will get stronger. She has shown to me strength so far in taking a stance to run a business when she has never been trained to do so and going to amazing lengths to do so...

The thing is we as audience all have different opinions of how we want the characters to grow...neither is right or wrong...writers control the plot... in my mind if I dont like a plot I rewrite it it my mind 😃😃

I like Sai from Ghum Hai...she is one strong headed female lead.

Nowadays I like Anupamaa too becoz with time she gets stronger with the help of everyone's sweetheart Anuj Kapadia. The way she goes against this crazy Shah circus is amazing, but it has taken time.

And frankly I dont hv enough patience to see Kajol going the Anupamaa way. It has been way tooo long. We have to keep in mind also tht the TRPs of both shows are NO where close to eachother so makers better be careful. Instead of adding a new character to TSBTSP every other day, they better focus on a decent storyline and I feel Kajol growing a spine will definitely help in TRPs. People are sick and tired of this bechari , abla naari shit.

And Anurag needs to come to terms with what exactly he feels for Kajol. One day he is sweet and understanding, the next moment totally out of line.....

So I like the cute interaction between Anurag & Otul (forgive me if I'm mispronouncing the kid's name but that's what my ears have heard) but Anurag, as a character, now just feels discombobulated for some reason in comparison to his feelings for Kajal. No offense but I just felt a bit disconnected with this + his nerve-jolting behavior upon Priyanka touching him. 😳Lol, Arjun-Shreya also bored me.

Also, why the hell is Priyanka forcing him to go on a dinner? Dude gave her a answer, so why can't she mind her own business?🤢Chipku aaurat. I get that she's giving the friend ka excuse and whatnot but forcing someone in their house is just cringefest. 🤕

What the hell was with Anurag standing beneath her window? So typical Romeo-Juliet scene. 🤢🤢

Lol, seems like Noyna has picked up over Arjun's relationship with Shreya but won't speak up. Arjun just looked baffled as hell. 😕😆

I liked the polite chop of Arjun by Anurag's pishima. She's a better pishima than Kajol's own pishima who does few token stern looks/lectures before silence takes over.

Chondona deciding for the entire family, including Kajal just pisses me off. Ek taraf pati ki mauth & dusri taraf Noyna ki shaadi? This woman is just speaking alienated language.

Anurag speaking about Mukherji's double standard was good. Indeed, they are double-standard. That's the Anurag I know, not the one when he's being typical Romeo today. When he said, about following her heart & not to decide under family pressure that was a better scene but still I felt disconnected because he himself seems pingponged over his feelings.

Let;s see what Kajal decides as Bishu can't there forever with her.
