But Nihal and Anjali are conspicuously absent.

Nihal is there with SMP in USA- Canada tour. Anjali is the only one missing I think.

Probably Idol did a disservice to her - she got slotted as highly classical, and limited vocal range.

May be that the response to the 1st announcement was an incentive. Tickets have been on sale for a while now.

Or maybe this is a competitor (Organizer).

Likely scenarios.

One is the original product, and the other is a me-too. No marks for guessing which one does better in the market.
