Interestingly, even before Yeh Rishta, Ami was considered for Anupamaa. There was strong competition between Ami and Rupali to play the lead. A source revealed that Rajan Shahi was impressed with Ami's mock shoot for Anupamaa and had mentioned to her that whenever he had a character that would suit her personality, he would surely send an offer to her. So when Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had their casting for new characters post the leap, Ami was offered the character of Harshad's mother and there was no audition taken for the role.

Not only Pritam shouted but Amrita's crying and screamimg was hell disturbing !!! Beeji screamed to Pritam 'Tu Nikal warna tera khoon kardung'. Soni screamed 'Hatt yahaan se warna kuch mile toh tera sar phod dungi'. I cant even explain aajka episode itna zyaada traumatizing thaa. Pure ek saal mein maine SP ke kisi bhi show mein itna zyaada dirty and horrific high voltage drama nahi dekha. It was tooo much dirty, horrific, terrible and ugly to watch !!!!

Throughout the entire episode mai phone ko aise kaske pakadke baithi thi. Pritam ko dekhke man kar raha thaa usko laath maarke ghar se bahaar nikaaloon. And this is coming out of me who is a Pritam fan.
