Whay I think is ,It's just a tactic to get that sairat feeling so that through sai we also fall for him.

Forget his selfish reasons to hurt sai and now they are going to show him selfless.

And then sai will realize her love ,and then transfer drama will start and she will fall on his feet to stop him.

Their dialogues are silly. Virat asking sai to let him know if she falls in love with someone is joke of the century.

It's must be just to know if she loves someone else instead of him.

They want to let audience know they are now friends & they are talking about love after being friends hinting that their confession is coming.

They are trying every other way to make audience both online and BARC that Virat loves Sai...can be a good husband and Sai and Virat are for each other...warna is ML mei as such there is nothing...To keep the third wheel relevant they turned the ML to be dumb... Warna there was nothing for Pakhi to do... Now with such words where Virat talks so freely about Sai falling in love with someone else...they are showing him as a good man .sacrificial who respects and understands Sai's choices in life...

In any case..ignoring the Dumb person he is around Pakhi ..this track if executed the way promo is looks better than KD love realisation which was too random..here Sai is shown to be not falling for Virat's caring nature...she is cautious and is ready for him to unleash his dark side when she is fine...So she falling for that man would not ne justified..So Virat is going through a character makeover maybe🤣

We know what happened when sai rejected his indirect proposal.

So I stopped taking his words seriously.
