exposition (Raghav's ex being mentioned, RaghVi talking about it, Esha being introduced)

rising action (Esha's feelings revealed, Raghav and Esha getting stuck, the hotel night mishap, Raghav keeping it a secret and more buildup)

climax (Pallavi coming to know via Raghav or any other means, Esha's fate, RaghVi's fate)

falling action+ resolution (Raghav getting a full closure and also learning his lesson, some type of reflection from Pallavi and/or Raghav, Esha's exit, preparing the story to transition to the next track)

If Raghav-Esha have already done it then the climax won't be as impactful for the audience because they already saw it happening (in a sense), it will only surprise Pallavi. Any plot is usually introduced so it can actually surprise the audience as much as (if not more) the characters in the plot.

Abhi yeh ghise pite tracks main surprise kaisa.

They've not done the deed for sure. That's a point of no return in itv. And yes you can't do it when you're so sloshed technically.

I felt he just couldn't accept that he was that stupid and his first reaction is to run - but where to go to now ? He can't live without Pallavi, he can't tell her the truth so he was okay dying instead of falling from grace in Pallavi's eyes. That is the place Pallavi has in his heart and mind - that instead of seeing disgust in her eyes he would prefer death happily.

I too think that the entire drinking session happened for this very reason... They kept it open ended so that they can take it either ways.

Like you said, if a person is drunk to the extent of passing out, its practically impossible for him/her to be in a position of having sex. So, they probably are keeping it open ended... either they can show that they indeed did it (which has less chances) or Esha took advantage of his drunk state and created the entire setup to make him believe that he did it (which has more chances).

Okay one last thing I want to say before I hit the bed.

Imagine you are literally waiting for something all your life(love) and you know the person you have with you loves you with all her heart and soul and then you go and do the one thing that is sin in your eyes can you look at the pure angel in front of you and pretend everything is fine ? Can you fake pretend everything is okay in your world ? If you have conscience can you allow your tainted hands to touch that pure hearted human being ?

Raghav is going through all this - he just can't touch Pallavi as she is so pure and he feels he is the tainted person.
