Because she doesn't love Ram. She thinks that as Ram still loves her, she has some sort of right over him. She just wants to take advantage of Ram's goodness and Ram is allowing her to take undue advantage of him. Log unhi haa fayeda uthate hai jo unhe fayeda uthane mauka dete hai. If Ram draws line then only she will understand her true aukat. Ram needs to stop prioritising her first.

Vedika is wierd, obsessed with Ram.

She is selfish & wants Ram to get reminded of her, chasing him for attention.

The whole point of the scene was to show Ram ignoring her. So that was good👍
