Honestly I feel they were just joking. If makers want to reveal later that it was all her plan why would actors announce it to media before.

And yes its time for Shiva to take stand for Raavi. Raavi has always supported him when maami insulted him. Raavi also loves mami but she always takes stand for Shiva and pandyas. Why cannt Shiva do same?

I wanted this track dealt differently without the third angle, but they are going to the familiar route, Now I won't be surprised they go all the way with Shiva-Disha's wedding and at the last minute Raavi will marry him.

If it happens, Shiva is no different than Dev😕
