I believe the Bharat Milap scene is when Prince Bharath finds out about the vanvaas, and his mother's hand behind it. He then goes in search of Lord Ram after his father's death, asking him to come back. Upon Lord Ram's refusal he asks for his slippers, saying that he will rule Ayodhya in Lord Ram's stead and will never take the position of King for himself....

It's an extremely emotional scene and is probably why KD is going to play Bharath....

One is Bharat going and taking the Sandals of Sri Rama and keeping in throne of Ayodhya...explains why Alice is in queen's costume
