There seems to be a huge Bengali-speaking contingent at SRGMPA this year.
We have at least 6 in the Jury - Debojit Saha, Aneek Dhar, Puja Chatterjee, June Banerjee, Arpita Mukherjee and Torsha Sarkar.

Contestants include - Neelanjana Ray (IL10), Sonia Gazmer (Il10), Indira Das (Il10). Krishnakoli Saha? (IL10), Subhadeep Das? (Il11), Singdhajit Bhowmik (Voice 1 and SRGMP Beng), Ananya Chakraborty (SRGMP Beng), Riya Chowdhury, Riya Biswas (SRGMP Lil Champs), Dipika Saha, Parasmani Rai. May have missed a few others.
Started with the Bong lot as I know many of them.
Next lot of final round singers later.
Let's hope some make the cut. All of these (other than ? one's) were in the final round before Judge's selection of Top whatever number.

Here are the other names that I could find.
They get less likelier as you head down the list.
Missed a few more Bengal representatives.

An update on HR Melodies, aka "Indian Idol on YTube!'
Nihal is stuck for good in the 5M+ mark.
Ashish actually trudges on to 10M through sheer momentum!
Whoever was hard promoting Danish/Sayli has run out of steam. It is taking almost a day to add 100K views. Much like Danish's IG - 810K by the time Idol finished - and +10K in 2 further months!

Lagann did not laagii twice for poor Meer Jasu. He is at the risk of being overtaken by the already beaten to death "O Soulmate" which got a new look and still failed to trick Gujaratis in any meaningful number.

If true, then it is the best way to send music lovers scurrying away from the show! Really! Khali? Was bad enough to have that speechless hulk at the Idol GF, but I thought he was brought for PD support. So there was a reason. But sangeet and Kahli?
