You bring up a great point. I’ve actually stopped watching for about a month or so. Yesterday, I watched a few scenes on Insta after reading the updates and the OTT acting was just too much to handle.

I don’t know about others but I always found Neil to be a good actor. I have a feeling that perhaps as an actor he can’t connect with this stupid character and the crap that Virat is doing? I’m no actor but I would think that in order to be able to convincingly play a role you have to be able to make some sort of connection to the character.

Plus the direction is so bakwaas. Sometimes, good direction can hide the flaws of subpar actors. But yahaan toh woh hope Bhi nahi hai. SAD!!

There are very less deserving actors in the cast, Adish and Sneha were two of them. I am glad Adish left for something better, I wish the same for Sneha too.

I find actor playing Ninad, Bhavani too caricaturist. Too much rolling of eyes which is not necessary at many places.

The way the actor playing Omi delivers his dialogues is like too aggressive. He can't speak normally.

Sonali too overdoes her evil expressions.

Mansi bua and Ashwini are OTT in emotional/ crying scenes.

Shivani overacts always, she can't get over her insta reels mode.🤣

Pulkit is too robotic... Too plain .. Just parroting the dialogues. All his expressions are used in Yamini's reels, so he has nothing when he comes onscreen. 🤣

Devi tai aces her mentally challenged role... Sometimes she overdoes but that looks apt as per role demand.

even robots break down.

Have ya'll not realized how robotic and routine the show is? Take a small issue, blown it up & then each actor gears up for their 5 lines of insults. Who wouldn't be tired and breakdown? They need a team of therapists just for the actors...it's so mentally toxic & exhausting to watch the show on FF...imagine having to act in it day after day...

I have seen his previous shows were he played a positive character who got manipulated by his wife.He played it very well.Here I think he may be asked to act aggressively.

I think Omi,Ninad,Sonali, Karishma are all good actors. They can play grey characters much better than a certain someone. But the problem is they hardly get any dialogues or SS. Either they hv to smirk or roll their eyes 😆 a senior artist like Ninad didn't hv a single dialogue today. Where as makers can show Didi in every single frame. 😡Direction has gone for a toss. If u guys noticed After hearing Sai's news Aswini was about to fall.MB was standing near her,but in a min Sonali came to her rescue camera angles are also so badly taken.

I can't believe this is the 2nd highest trp show of such a popular channel. I won't be surprised if other actors will follow Adish 's root.

I have been feeling the same about Neil these days. He doesn't look as if he is convinced with what the plot is otherwise his subtle nuances are really nice....

I find Ashwini is OTT since day 1, the godu-Sai & her enunciation in emotional scenes - everything is at a higher pitch than necessary. She also tends to brush aside stuff that are abusive despite being a victim (or she's completely de-sensitised to it, unfortunately because she's been abused).

Samrat's mother Mansi - where's the natural outrage as a MIL towards PP for not respecting her son's space in PP's life? I don't mean she has to be a mean or a caricaturish MIL but is she absolutely blind to things that are underfoot in the house. She's been here way longer than Samrat has been, has witnessed some of the things PP has been doing or saying but she just stays mum on it & want them to work it out. How's that going to happen? The actress seems to be very accomplished but her reactions are just too slow or mellow for the situation or OTT in the emotional scenes.

Samrat - new entrant to the house but has a 3rd party view into the dynamics & I am so glad he's picked up the nuances of the relationship. Apart from being super raw in the emotional scenes as a character I really want to know what is it that he & PP talk about in their bedroom. Do they not even acknowledge her intense feelings & the vibes towards Virat? Any normal 'happy' couple will discuss future plans & how to enmesh each other's lives.

I could just go on & on but most everyone has mentioned what I wanted. Thank you for reading my first but long rant.

Honestly, I have never commented on anything but have been catching clips on Instagram on GHKKPM but this week has been absolutely trash! Nobody has any sense of the seriousness or the direction in which they want to turn this series.

I don’t think the actors would have got complacent or arrogant - they have seen success before. I think the writing has gotten so bad, their characters so inconsistent, the dialogues so meme-worthy, that the actors are not able to perform with conviction.
