Since Sonu Nigam recorded in a studio Dubai (he said so in that promo) and Arunita recorded in Kolkata, some auto-tuning might have been required to get these two in sync. That may have caused this kind of metallic / tinny effect in their voices.

By the way, looking at the dress, it appears that this was a recording on Sunday - and then straight to the Kolkata airport, and from Mumbai airport to Octopus for practice - and from there to Playhead Studio for recording. Really hectic day!!
