Ani has been around court enough to know that PP ke jaise questions aayenge, and what he did not want was Tapur having to face such questions before she was ready. It has nothing to do with what society thinks, rather it has everything to do with what Tapur thinks and feels. Aaj phirse, due to Pravisht's brilliant expression, you could see Ani realise where the questions were going the moment PP asked his first question, it was his worst fears coming true in front of his eyes...

And about hiding from Bon, Ani knows Bon better than anyone else, he knew that the moment Bon knew, she would try her best to get Tapur to testify, but in her desperation to save Ani, she inadvertently put forward today's situation, where Tapur had to face questions SHE was not prepared for, causing damage to her mental health.

Vaise Bon did good preparation for cases but we can’t forget bon too is a girl and like ani said she can’t stop as low as barrister suvidha skigj such questions
