Today I managed to watch the episode early.

Anokhi is such an emotional girl. The way she started crying on seeing Aastha was gutwrenching. It was so natural, no ott howling. The comfort between Shaan, Aastha and Anokhi made me really happy for Anokhi but very sad for Shaurya. He should have been there with his parents and not facing such turmoil as to how to deal with this. His gut is telling him to care for his mom, but his mind is refusing it.

The scene of the Sabherwals around their breakfast table complaining about Shaan made me cringe.

How can they be so unfeeling and crass. Why should Shaan not take care of his wife? Again Devi turns everything against Aastha, implying the latter took advantage of Shaan. Devi is the ultimate vamp. There was not any need to bring back Shagun, Devi alone was enough as villain.

It is a pleasure to see Shaurya when he is in his stubborn mode and not listen to Devi. However again Shaurya has crossed his limits by asking his father to break ties with Aastha else he would leave the house. Petty and cheap tactics.

Good that Shaan for once did not remain quiet and told Devi and Shaurya off. But he also messed-up again by asking Shaurya to go and see his mom because he need to do his duty as son.

Has Shaan ever asked himself if he has any right in asking Shaurya to be the son when neither him nor Aastha ever took their responsibility seriously and failed as parents.

While Shaurya was wrong in blackmailing his father, looking at his inner turmoil, his trying to hide what he is going through is really heartbreaking.

When the two brats come to the office and he realises Anokhi is at the hospital, it feels like he envies Anokhi for that relationship, as she has the hak to be with his mom.

Gaytri was very efficient in conveying the need for Shaurya to see his mom as she could understand his pain, uncertainty and regret.

The hospital scene and Shaurya's expression 💔💔💔

This is what made me start watching SAAKK.

What an interesting episode. While shaurya turns out to be extremely mean you do end up feeling sorry for him.

The tenderness in the Shastha/shanoor scene was so palpable. These 2 actors have their own chemistry. Anokhi could sense the love in the room but not understand it. I dont know what to feel for Aastha, she lost a son and here she has a daughter who is crying and caring for her. Her husband is with her. They almost look like a family. I dont know if it was good writing or what, but here when aastha became adamant, you could see shaurya has definitely taken after his mother.

Saberwals are not classy. They are horrible. To make a even this situation about themselves is the height of self obsession. What even? And why is Shaurya angry that his father went to his almost dying mother? Somewhere this anger is more fear. He does not know how to express this concern and fear he is feeling for a person he hates.

By the evening, Shaurya just became petty. The emotional blackmail, that he has learned from Devi did not work on Shaan.I liked that Shaan stood his ground and cut even Tej off but again you feel bad that when it comes to aastha he took a stand and showed concern but never for Shaurya. Also, i wish Shaan had walked out of the saberwal house, would have been a better story plot.Plus its not like they care. But shaan spoilt it by asking shaurya to visit aastha, WHY?

The scene is the hospital. The happy family again. But why did aastha expect Shaurya would come visit her when she has not even tried sending a text to mend that relationship...just why? When Aastha slips into coma, Shaan pacifies Anokhi like a father. Where was this shaan for Shaurya? Where was this strength? I adore the love they have for each other, full of trust but the are absolutely horrible parents.

The best scene of the day - Gayatri and Shaurya. Gayatri is such a voice of reason. She exactly termed what shaurya was feeling - confused and told him regret would be a worse emotion than ego. And then left him to reflect. Space. Was. Given

Side Note 1 - Deba looks adorable when she cries in a scene❤️

Side note 2 - Betty should just stop. Glad Shaurya recognized it for what it was. But also noticed Anokhi was missing, means aastha was still in danger.

Sabh’s utterly non sensical discussion of which Shaurya was a direct target after a certain point atleast for BM was clearly evident. Tej and Alok it can be seen as a regular thing but Bm’s motive was to provoke Shaurya. Tej expected Shaan to inform him before shifting hospitals? There is something called emergency situation and Shaan is old and sensible enough to take a decision for his wife. Bm has lost her cool owing to her insecurity that Shaurya might fall weak emotionally for Astha. Does it make any sense to say that Astha has succeeded to draw Shaan towards her when her own life was ar risk? And Alok we can’t expect any better. Who said that an independent woman doesn’t need help/support? Good that Ss put a stop but all their discussion riled him up enough to take a drastic step.

What happened to this Shaan? Even though he gave explanation for his actions which in true sense he isn’t bound to but he was assertive of taking care of Astha. I truly felt that Ss was behaving a bit too childish knowing that Shaan wasnt in proper state who was completely drained emotionally and physically. The negativity in the house is pushing Shaurya further away from his true self. And Tej why did he not react the same way to Shaurya leaving the house as he reacted to Shaan leaving the house? When the mention of Shaan leaving came he stood by and announced that neither should leave. Was he scared that if Shaan leaves he might get together with Astha again? How does it matter? Gayatri being the only sensible adult in the house advises Ss to visit Astha. I sincerely wished to see some growth in her character but it remained stagnant. Shaurya doesn’t seem convinced but May be it hit him when he realised the bitter truth and decided otherwise.

There was a certain glum in Shaan’s eyes as he expressed to Astha what she meant for him. Anokhi’s extreme care and concern for Astha is understandable as Astha is the main pillar behind whatever Anokhi is today.

I reiterate this time and again that justice hasn’t been done to Shaan and Astha’s back story. It feels so incomplete.

Was this a filler episode?

Shastha are their cute intimate selves and our tubelight Anokhi doesn't really catch on. Poor girl doesn't know about love or intimacy just yet! It was so sweet to see how emotional Anokhi was about her Aastha ma'am. And as Shaan pointed out, Anokhi can win an argument with Aastha. She fights with Aastha with a level of haq. I'm glad Shaan has committed himself to taking care of his Noor until she can take care of herself.

Shaan's decisions don't sit well with the Sabherwals. They're their nonsensical selves with assuming that Aastha is taking advantage of the situation. How is someone who is shot and unconscious supposed to be strong and independent? And since they're still married it makes sense that Aastha's next of kin would be her husband. Devi talking about emotional blackmail as if she's not the queen of it. It was just utter nonsense. And the fact that Shaan felt the need to explain himself had me shaking my head. Then to top it off, Shaurya puts out his ultimatum too.....me or her.....how immature is that! I'm glad Shaan called him out but Shaan decided to leave himself.....thus choosing Aastha over Shaurya once again. One thing I wondered was, we learned later that Shaan has a flat, so he would have had a place to go.....but where was Shaurya going to go? He's so impulsive that he clearly didn't plan his exit.....just like when he went to Ahir's later.

Very dramatic ending to the episode.....Aastha is in a coma....in the ICU for 24 hours.....50/50 chance! Broken hearted Shaan and Anokhi. And then the man in the hood comes in. So much suspense....is it Raja? Did he come back to finish the job? Nope, it's the prodigal son....Shaurya Sabherwal!

Side notes:

~ Aastha lied to the police. And no one finds out. The Bhallas don't mention it later either. It would have been nice if Anokhi or Shaurya overheard that during pre-wedding rituals.....drama ensues! Too ITV?

~ What was that petition for extra classes? What was the point? For Shaurya to look for Anokhi's name? For the twins to bad mouth Anokhi again?

~ Gayatri deserved more screen time. Her and Shaurya's relationship had the potential to grow. She was the only nice person, who knew all the truths, and cared about Shaan and Shaurya.

The awesome foursome needed some light hearted scenes together after the wedding. I was really looking forward to that. We had so many KPs of Shaan and Aastha staying at the flat and ShaKhi visiting them for dinners.

The scene of the Sabherwals around their breakfast table complaining about Shaan made me cringe.

Devi was such a great villain. And a great actress with talent can do wonders with such a role! The Sabherwals were all spouting nonsense.

It is a pleasure to see Shaurya when he is in his stubborn mode and not listen to Devi. However again Shaurya has crossed his limits by asking his father to break ties with Aastha else he would leave the house. Petty and cheap tactics.

Everyone always wants Shaurya to be the good son...which he has been to Tejvi and Shaan. But for Shaan to think he should be a good son to Aastha was a little too much for me. Why would he go see the woman who abandoned him? Maybe like Gayatri said, it's a chance to not have regrets. Shaan knows how soft his son is, so maybe he doesn't want him to be crushed in case Aastha didn't make it.

When the two brats come to the office and he realises Anokhi is at the hospital, it feels like he envies Anokhi for that relationship, as she has the hak to be with his mom.

Oh wow really. Chunar was done really well. I really like that KV can hold so much emotion in his eyes and convey so much sadness with a look.

This is a cycle with Shaurya. He's mean and we hate him, then he does something to convey his pain and we feel sorry for him. Props to KV for balancing that.

The tenderness in the Shastha/shanoor scene was so palpable. These 2 actors have their own chemistry. Anokhi could sense the love in the room but not understand it. It was an incomplete family without Shaurya. I wish we had gotten all four of them hanging out more after the reunions.

Saberwals are not classy. They are horrible. To make a even this situation about themselves is the height of self obsession. What even? And why is Shaurya angry that his father went to his almost dying mother? Somewhere this anger is more fear. Shaurya's anger is always displaced.

By the evening, Shaurya just became petty. Again we started with Shaurya is petty.......to feeling bad for him that his father continues to not prioritize him. Poor kid is abandoned on all levels. As for Shaan asking him to visit Aastha, I think it's because he knows that no matter what Shaurya says, he's a kind hearted person. He can deny that Aastha is his mother, but her presence means something to him because her absence has affected him so much.

Ditto! Aastha's expectation was confusing. Shaan being a better father to someone he just met over his own son is disappointing. The fact that he's capable of being a good parent but chose not to is so sad.

The best scene of the day - Gayatri and Shaurya. Gayatri is such a voice of reason. She exactly termed what shaurya was feeling - confused and told him regret would be a worse emotion than ego. And then left him to reflect. Space. Was. Given

haha...yes! Tej expected to be consulted for such a thing as if it's a dictatorship. Must run everything by the master before spending Sabherwal money I guess.

Devi must think that Aastha got shot just to screw with Shaan. Probably because Devi would fake illness to emotionally blackmail someone(cough fake heart attack cough😆).

I think Deepa mentioned in an interview that Shastha were supposed to get to explore their story before off-air happened. This wasn't the story that was promised to her.
