Ok this is what struck me today! So this is what is making virat flip!!! His expectations… that sai should love him back!! Ok I take my arguments back that he is sacrificing for her well being 😵

He indeed took anniversary rejection too seriously 🙁.

Virat is no special… typical husband 😒

Where is unconditional love 😔

He is parrotting pp's lines to him. Utterly disappointing. All that talk of not forcing Sai to love him back is bull crap. He is just an egotistical guy who is so caught up in this feeling of "rejection" that he has forgotten that the foundation of his relationship with Sai was him promising to take care of her, give her wings to fulfil her aspirations, support her to be independent and complete her education n be successful in her career. He has forgotten all that just because he is angry that she doesn't "love him back". There is nothing special or unconditional, selfless about this love. The guy who said "pakki zubaan" has forgotten the promise he made. He laid conditions for the marriage, then he wanted to tweak them but didnt explicitly say so- he wanted Sai to understand and accept the changed " dynamic" of their relationship and if she didn't do so, hes now angry at her because things are not going as per his plan. So its all what he wants. First he wanted to fulfil zimmedari, n now hes sick of it. The problem is not him having expectations, feeling hurt/gussa but the utter lack of concern for Sai's safety, well being....in the past few days he has shown no "love". There was a time long ago when even after a screaming match would notice that Sai had not eaten and tell her to eat....when he was reprimanding Sai in front of family but wouldn't let them insult Sai/her upbringing. But now he joins PP in taunting his wife. He knows pp's intentions but he is only interested in being nice to her, shielding her, asking everyone to behave nicely with her even when she crosses all limits and speaks disrespectfully to his wife and sister. And yet he expects his wife whom he has all these "expectations" from to not be affected by his ridiculous soft corner for his ex who waltzes into their life repeatedly, unannounced to only create problems and misunderstandings.

Yes I have been sensing this.. but he himself spoke clearly today. You put very beautifully that his bond with sai was based on the trust that he would support her to achieve her dreams but now he remained ‘just’ husband. Will the accident open his eyes? But what’s the use if he goes away instead understanding what she felt and experienced. Tai said the truth he cannot understand what she felt in that house… the insecurity of living under the same roof with his ex when she interferes and claims him on every chance! How much it would have teared her heart slowly but deeply😞 . How will he ever know?!

I'm sorry Sadhika, I don't even see him as a typical husband.

A typical husband may have sky high expectations, want more than he gives ....but a typical husband will atleast fulfill the basic requirements - stay away from an ex...and certainly not join an ex in taunting and insulting his wife whom he has so much expectations from. And start with acknowledging his commitment to the relationship before having expectations from the spouse.

I think this is basic level of honesty that is absolutely essential. I see his love as very shallow - he does a lot of things for Sai true....but every single thing he does is out of expectations that his efforts will be repayed. Everybody does have expectations from the spouse, can get frustrated when their efforts are not acknowledged....but Virat's efforts and the things he does for Sai are totally conditional. That is not love. And while he wants absolute fidelity from Sai, where is his faithfulness when it comes to his ex? What is the use of all the things he does for Sai if you don't show respect towards your wife?

This is no love story.....it's a disaster.😒

There is Virat who does not want to forget his insult all his life...went ahead to insult and harass her with his ex..and he claims to love her... Claims of undying love for her..

There is Sai who wants to forget and forgive him for the bad things and just remember the good ones and she has stll not realised her love...

There is a Virat who loves Sai wishing fate of loneliness for her since he left his family...and importance of family...clearly knowing fate has been unfair to her with no parents no family at such a youn age..

There is a selfish Sai who before leaving prayed to Bappa for his well being and happy life...

Virat's love is nothing but spousal expectations.. it was put in his mind by Sunny that it's love...It's not love... He would not let his disgusting ex torture her... Talk nonsense about her if it was love... Imagine this man is not even concerned she has left her college to go to GC, with no one with her and Jagtap and his family residing.. Not even worried about her safety...I don't want him to go after her... But show some concern..But no in his ego he threw the letter as well...

Everything about him now screams.. run away Sai ... You will get better men ...better family... You would be treasured...But sigh she will come back to 'this so full of himself' husband..

I have rarely said this about any ITV ML, however honestly... Virat is by far the most disgusting ML I have ever watched.

The characterisation is by far one of the worst. The way he's treated Sai and by association Devyani hurts. He stood there and let Patralekha insult Devyani, however did not want to hear whatever Devyani had to say about Patralekha.

In the precap, he doesn't want to listen to Samrat, but will open his mind purely for Patralekha's "views" - especially considering he knows what Patralekha wants... him.

I genuinely wish that Sai doesn't lose her memory, recalls everything that happened... and tells Virat he can shove it where the sun don't shine. She sadly cares for him, however, he does not deserve it at all.

Arghhh... how dare he say that she deserves to know what it's like to be alone? She's already feeling that you ******* piece of ****. Besides Samrat, Ashwini, Shivani, Devyani & Mohit, no one cares about Sai. Everyone believes she causes all the drama because Patralekha can't keep her own mouth shut.

At this point, I absolutely believe Samrat should take Sai away and support her like a big brother. He's already humiliated by his brother and wife, he doesn't need more bull**** added on.

Virat does not deserve Sai whatsoever. It will take a long time for me to believe SaiRat should be endgame, and only if Virat admits that he kept quiet about Patralekha's feelings, and wanted Sai to be Patralekha 2.0. W*****.
