Siddhart and Monami made a mistake. There was a punishment given for that. The punishment was severed since they tried to escape the first one. There was also a way to get rid of the punishment. Apologise and leave, simple.

The issue is, Siddhart doesnot feel guilty of the mistake he has committed. He wasnt ready to apologise? Really? Why? Because his intentions would be misunderstood? Anymore than they already have? Monami's reasons are totally baseless.

The point is, how do you make Siddhart realise his mistake and how far does one go to uphold the rules of the Academy because then, there will be others who will follow suit for anything they desire and are not given.

A person can die without food and water

And everyone has the right to basic needs...no one is allowed to refuse someone's right

That's not at all a punishment!

Karan is wrong here and will be wrong

And so is Sid because he doesn't understand a NO means a NO! When she clearly stated she isn't interested then be respectful of her wishes and stop being stubborn

Both are wrong

And both need to be given punishment

@ Red: That was the basic problem with Monu as well. She isn't willing to see that Sid committed a mistake. All she kept going on and on about was Karan was wrong and harsh. And the cadets all knew Karan was right but supported Monu because she was their fellow cadet. But when they stopped siding by her, then at least she should have understood that Sid and her were wrong. She had made a mistake in trying to help Sid escape, but still nothing that couldn't be fixed with a sincere apology. Sid still hasn't gotten past that point that a sincere apology and actually understanding his mistake can't fix. But Monu? How do you fix something like what she has done?

Yes, possible. But expulsion? How? We ALL know how he returned to the Academy to yours truly Sanjana. He did mention, though, he would expel them on Col. Batra's return.

Monami is beyond repair I guess. No hopes.

Here even Faizi amd Sanjana's roles could have been portrayed stronger but Faizi was conspicuously absent and Sanjana was shown as a lost puppy. Couldn't she have knocked sense into Monami that, i went and told him. He is still not budging. Being a girl, you should understand better. You better fix this your way or things go south to which none is responsible.
