yeah like most show the actual plot I think is 200ish episodes, i.e. ends with Adi Pankhuri reuniting his parents, but of course, it was a highly successful show, so it went on for a long while after.😆

With Ram Priya the hate was centered more around light nok jhok, when Ekta's in the mood of showing hate hate, her couples are toxic eff.😆 Ram Priya minus the scene after his heart attack when he confronts her, never had any really rude or hurtful scenes as such, it was more irritating each other and pulling each other's leg.😊 And yeah I agree there, I know Ram was seen out of line, but not only did he live away from his daughter for five years, but he also spent five years mourning her loss and her death on top of the guilt that he couldn't do anything to help her which is a lot of baggage. I actually thought most characters here, were unreasonable in expecting him not to react tbh😆, However, whenever he blamed for the infinite mishaps of his brilliant family, that was out of line. And definitely, one of the main things I love about BALH is the fact that Ekta clearly understood the OTT drama that worked in the early to mid-2000s won't click anymore, so she toned it down a lot, the entire approach, right up to Peehu's kidnapping and Ram realizing his mistake, was very well done.

See that first confrontation scene was totally okay for me because ram's anger was completely justified. Problem was sometimes he used to act stubborn and not understand that from the custody case pihu can also be hurt but it was logical as he never thought rationally plus his anger was justified. Yes during this also they used to have nok jhoks🤣. Ram was not a typical male lead who will torture female lead he was just a hurt and angry person at that time👍🏼. Yes most characters were expecting ram to forgive priya easily as well if nothing happened. He loved priya and when he learned about her being alive with their child he was hurt and angry at her because his love priya lied to him for so many years. I would say priya, sudhir and even vikram handled the situation nicely. Yes it's true ekta didn't tried her ott drama in raya relationship which was the best part of this serial👍🏼. I loved how beautifully they showed ram realising his mistakes and forgiving priya and then reunite with her❤️. The only wrong part was ram giving his property to that ayesha😆

And the nicknames tablet kapoor, hitler🤣. I remember a scene where priya was forcing ram to have healthy food and the expression on ram's face🤣

yeah, this season has really good pacing. They aren't wasting any time on irrelevant things. Are just getting straight to the point and to the marriage.

I must've missed those, whichever episodes I happened to catch, was just Peehu going out of line and Priya weeping😳 It was just so repetitive and tedious😆 and truly she was just tooooo OTT, for a second I can say I get what her problem with Priya was, but what on earth was her problem with Ram? She wasn't any better there despite the fact that Ram literally did as she pleased🤓 and LOL Natasha was the only one who actually put her in her place in that track tbh🤣 Otherwise everyone else acted like she'll eat them🤣

Yeah that's fair enough as well, Ayesha was just a really bad person, especially after the 5 year leap. But this was another thing, Ayesha was introduced as a somewhat superficial materialistic girl who wanted money, and from that, she suddenly turned into the world's biggest gold digger with the leap.🤣 Also went from trying to make her way as a model and earning that way, to sitting home and eating pati ka paisa.😆

Peehu was a spoilt brat for sure, but yeah, not Ayesha level bad regardless.😆 and that's a good point, Natasha definitely grew out of it, but she had her flaws regardless, especially in the initial days of her marriage, which perfectly mirrored Peehu. But regardless, Natasha would never cling onto someone who clearly didn't love her, as was seen from the fact that she left Kartik the second he cheated on her, unlike Peehu who was repeatedly told Sammy has no feelings for her and just didn't care, likewise, as you said Natasha cared for SOME relationships at least, Peehu minus Sammy, just didn't give a damn about anyone. And of course Natasha grew out of her immaturity, whereas Peehu till the final track, hadn't really changed. She still showed huge levels of immaturity in the baby track. So there were definitely both similarities and differences which made Natasha slightly better😆 in all fairness more than Niharika I think Ram spoilt Natasha, and likewise he spoilt Peehu so that was another similarity IMO🤣 but he did raise the twins as well and they were normal, so clearly Peehu wasn't his fault🤣

and bold yeah they really overdid this, even after dumping the entire load on Juhi at the end of it, it didn't change all the karname Peehu did up to that point. But now that we've mentioned Juhi, Naina was another character i just completely loathed!! You live in this man's house for goddamn 8 years, then you mistreat and abuse his poor wife who was in a coma-like wtf🤢 clearly Peehu did get her upbringing from Juhi coz Naina was also awful🤣

and rofl exactly, there were so many decisions Sammy Suhani could have taken to stop all this in its track, just because Peehu was being unreasonable doesn't mean they had to be 10 times more. Even if Suhani left him, Sammy did not need to get married to her when he knew he can't move on and he shouldn't have been forced into it either. But as you're saying, by this time in the show, logic was long out of the window.🤣 and truly, I admire Saakshi for sticking with this to the end, coz honestly, as an audience that was painful to look at near the end. I cant imagine acting in it.

For some money purpose pihu was being rude so priya reprimanded her (fayda nai hua🤔). The episode where pihu was going to commit suicide in that episode or most probably before that priya was about to slap her because pihu said something wrong like middle class mentality (how I wish ki wo thappar mar deti aur uske sath teen aur de deti🤢). Then during sammy's murder mystery episodes pihu and khush were fighting for property so priya scold both of them😆. Yes uske papa ne usko uska sammy de diya phir bhi unse problem hai🤔. Aur problem kis liye uski ma ko wapas lane ke liye pihu was at a disgusting stage🤢. Yes natasha was the only person who put her on line👏. Yes that naina uff what an arrogant and dramebaaz girl🤢. And juhi said pihu is spoilt brat while naina is a doll joke of the day🤣. Naina and pihu dono same hi hai the it's just that naina never misbehaved with juhi😆. Yes even after that there was no justification for pihu insulting her mother and father but I liked how the cvs showed pihu accepting her mistakes and not just putting the blame on juhi

Yes too some extent ram was responsible but main culprit was niharika as she never showed ram how spoilt she was😆. Anyways you are right the similarities and differences make natasha slightly better than pihu😆. And natasha had a self respect but pihu ka self respect ghas charne gaya tha🤣. About pihu too some extent ram responsible hai specially for agreeing to get her married to sammy. Actually both natasha and pihu were grey shaded character but pihu looked highly irritating as grey shaded😆

About ayesha at first she was shown like natasha. But after 5 years she gave competition to niharika and siddhant in her evilness😕 aur akhir mein jeet bhi gayi😆. The way ayesha treated her own son was🤢. I think ram and priya should have got her arrested for hiding a criminal as it's a crime and took khush custody

And precisely! That's what I loved the most about the show as well, they were genuinely just really happy together, and even if and when there were misunderstandings, they never misunderstood each other. Rather there was always that understanding that there must be more to it which was really nice to see😊

And ditto on the last bit too, the Ayesha track was already treading on thin water just because I HATE this dupe trope on TV. IMO its the worst thing you can ever do to a loved couple, kill one off then bring in their dead spouse's humshakal for the remaining spouse, so I already had no positive opinion on it, and they really didn't help either coz the track was highly repetitive of everything Pankhuri went through when she got married. But i did appreciate the maturity with which the track ended. Neither had to turn negative to justify the other which was nice😆 and the Ayush track just made Avantika the biggest hypocrite ever tbh! Who left Harish because he might've gotten another woman pregnant when she herself hid her pregnancy and didn't even bother telling him she was pregnant. If I remember right, BALH 1 and PKDH were on around the same time, I'm almost certain PKDH copy-pasted the Neha Vikram Rehaan angle from here. Coz Ayush literally came out of the blue😳 and they really ruined Avantika here by making her such a hypocrite! I always watch till Pankhuri comes back and act like this Ayush crap never happened🤣

Rajshri movies gosh.. they are too cheesy and sugary .. Although I enjoy them , esp HAHK. 😆 I too loved the stark contrast between the two families.. I was actually really impressed by the way Deewan family was portrayed.. looked like a real modern family that you expect to see in Mumbai 👍🏼 Avantika and Preeti scenes in the initial episodes were full of car and dog fights which I was surprised to see but also enjoyed and it made me curious about the show . Also Anuj used to call his younger sister Avantika "Ma'am" .. haha.. no wonder Sheila was so irked 🤣 Avantika dominated like anything

Yes there were no OTT family emotions even in the Gupta family which was shown as ideal fam, there were characters like Govardhan mama and it didn't feel too cheesy. Also although Pankhuri was a gentle, soft-spoken girl she wasn't weak and whiny... And not overly shy like say Amrita Rao in Vivah 😆 she had no qualms holding hands with Adi haha 😛😉❤️ but yeah later the makers did make her suffer a lot, sometimes too much which was to see. But those would get resolved soon too so all good . 😆

Yeah the locations were lovely! I have actually been re-watchimg those initial episodes and waah the scenery! 😍😍

That Ayesha track just didn't work..and how would it?? You develop such a sweet beautiful lovestory for 300+ episodes and then suddenly kill off one of the leads? like.. all that was for nothing?? Ughh.. It was painful to see Adi's pain at that time.. and I couldn't accept Ayesha with Adi at all.. it was unbearable. I remember we fans trended on twitter and made threads on IF and tweeted to the makers too lol to #BringBackPankhuri 😆 And when she was brought back I didn't even care how illogical it looked.. atleast she was back lol. But yes I loved how Ayesha didn't turn negative.. in the end when she was leaving I actually felt bad for Ayesha even though I didn't want her to be with Adi..but it was great to see Nani taking her to Australia with her! Such a lovely gesture that was.. 👏 These relationships were so well done in the show ❤️

Ditto about Ayush track. I don't consider it part of PKDH at all lol. For me it ended with Pankhu's return I wish they would have shown PaYa having a kid instead of that ayush track.. 🤢 Would be sooo lovely to see them as parents! Adi the child having his own child 😆❤️ Would have loved to see that.
