Yes they were always happy together and never had any stupid big misunderstanding which would cost their love .. also I simply loved how Adi-Pankhu were EQUALS in the truest sense, in their marriage.. no one was more dominating than the other.. the respect and understanding that they had for each other >>>>>
The problems were also quite realistic.. no OTT drama, nothing.. family and relationship problems that were solved and not dragged for eternity 👍🏼
Only that Ayesha track and ayush track was ridiculous..🤓 before that it was a great drama ..one of the best ever on tv ❤️
yeah same as you, even I had a hard time getting into it when I tried it the first time, I'm not really a fan of Rajshri movies per se, they're too sappy IMO so I kinda went into it with that preconceived notion.😆 But then when all the Deewan's fought like cats and dogs 2-3 episodes in I was all okay no OTT family emotions thank god🤣 And as you're saying after a somewhat slow start it really picked up and how😊 Plus the locations they shot at when Adi Pankhuri meet for their marriage i.e. the first 10-15 episodes were beautiful❤️
And precisely! That's what I loved the most about the show as well, they were genuinely just really happy together, and even if and when there were misunderstandings, they never misunderstood each other. Rather there was always that understanding that there must be more to it which was really nice to see😊
And ditto on the last bit too, the Ayesha track was already treading on thin water just because I HATE this dupe trope on TV. IMO its the worst thing you can ever do to a loved couple, kill one off then bring in their dead spouse's humshakal for the remaining spouse, so I already had no positive opinion on it, and they really didn't help either coz the track was highly repetitive of everything Pankhuri went through when she got married. But i did appreciate the maturity with which the track ended. Neither had to turn negative to justify the other which was nice😆 and the Ayush track just made Avantika the biggest hypocrite ever tbh! Who left Harish because he might've gotten another woman pregnant when she herself hid her pregnancy and didn't even bother telling him she was pregnant. If I remember right, BALH 1 and PKDH were on around the same time, I'm almost certain PKDH copy-pasted the Neha Vikram Rehaan angle from here. Coz Ayush literally came out of the blue😳 and they really ruined Avantika here by making her such a hypocrite! I always watch till Pankhuri comes back and act like this Ayush crap never happened🤣

Yeah she was never a clownish villain just for the sake of it.. even Sheila mami was not a total negative character and you could see where she was coming from.. no one was intolerable in the show 😆
Aww and I just loved Adi's dad Harish ! Adi-Harish relationship was smiley42smiley27 Also Harish-Avantika's journey was so beautiful! ❤️
I feel like PKDH was one show which portrayed a broken family and tense relationships perfectly.👏. very well written show it was.. characters were amazing.. it's rare to see such shows on ITV .
Definitely Mansi's portrayal of Avantika and the character in general, was one of the best things about the show. I loved how strong and independent the character was, while also having a sweet nice side.😆
And totally, though Sheila did annoy me a little🤣 I still do understand where the character was coming from regardless. She did genuinely care about everyone, but of course, having all her rights, and the rights of her children stripped because of her nand, overpowered the nicer side of her personality.
Ditto, I also love all the four core characters, namely Adi Pankhuri Avantika Harish and their relationships with each other. Each relationship was beautifully developed and both couples had a really nice journey. If Adi Pankhuri showed a slightly more mature happy take on marriage, Harish Avantika showed the more bitter side of it, which despite a lot of love, still fell apart.
The bold bit, that's probably my fav part about the show, it one of the most realistic takes on a broken family and a broken marriage, and despite it, they never used that as an excuse to make Adi a jerk😆 I mean how often have we seen, my parents don't get along so that's a license to mistreat women now?😆
After first leap when priya returned back that was the only time we saw tremendous hatred between ram and priya (typical ekta style😆). But it was not like ram tortured her or everytime insulted her. It's just that he wanted pihu's custody where I think he is justified as he lost his daughter's childhood and her five years so the anger was justified (yes according to ekta style ram went overboard sometimes😆). But this custody thing was solved very smoothly with some logic and after this slowly ram and priya reunited😃. And after this whatever fights they had the essence of their relationship was never destroyed. They still trust and cared for each other👍🏼. Only circumstances seperated them for long years😊
